Video posted in January 2024 shows cornhole star Dayton Webber loading and firing a handgun.
Webber is accused of shooting and killing 27-year-old Bradrick Michael Wells in Maryland before driving off with the body in his car.
The American Cornhole League has released the following statement:
“The ACL is aware of the reports regarding allegations involving Dayton Webber. This is an extremely serious matter and our thoughts are with all those impacted, including the family and loved ones of Bradrick Michael Wells.”
“At this time, this remains an active legal situation. We respect the judicial process and will not comment on specific allegations or details while proceedings are ongoing.”

NEW: Quadruple amputee professional cornhole player accused of murdering someone before driving off in his Tesla. Dayton Webber, 27, who has no arms & legs and was featured on ESPN, is accused of shooting 27-year-old Bradrick Michael Wells during an argument. "Police say Webber was in his Tesla SUV when he shot Wells in the passenger seat," a local report from Fox 5 said. "He then pulled over and asked two backseat passengers to help pull Wells out of the car. They refused and got out of the car before calling the police." Webber then allegedly drove off with Wells' body in the car. It's completely unclear how Webber was able to fire a weapon, considering he doesn't have fingers. "It’s early in the investigation, but there’s no evidence to suggest anyone else was involved in the shooting and that he acted alone," said Diane Richardson, Charles County Sheriff's Office. Webber faces first and second-degree murder charges. Video: ESPN

@SouthEastJuco @CoachSwit If I am evaluating him to play at the same level then yes. But if I am trying to project him to play at the next levels then I need to see more than “for whatever reason “.

2. For whatever reason, he just gets outs. K’s and soft contact.

For all the velocity experts out there…
So are we saying the pitcher who throws 85 mph, commands the zone, and can land two off-speed pitches for strikes anytime has no chance of playing D1 baseball?
Or are we pretending those guys don’t still get outs? Just wondering?

It’s amazing to me how many high school seniors think JUCO Baseball is easy. As a parent of a player who started out as a D1 guy then went to Juco, I saw what my son went through daily being challenged. Some of you HS guys will have a reality check in Juco. #CoachGravesGuys
