@skinthent @GianniVecchio__ Yeah agreed it will take some time to perfect, just never seen as many pre race dnfs and also not a fan of cars now managing in qualifying or the lack of responsibility on the driver with the new software

@BenHelmsley @GianniVecchio__ Not when introducing massive change to both engines & chassis. I have no doubt that they will be far more reliable by the end of the year, but when pushing for every fraction of a second things will break. That is why they had the private 1st test, so they didn't break in public.

@skinthent @GianniVecchio__ I get the point your making but surely 32 years later with all the tech advancements within F1 you’d hope for better reliability now

@feedmelulz @skippy_tails @F1 Because the cars are on average 3 seconds a lap slower than last year and there is less driver skill involved than ever. The only people enjoying these regs are casuals and DTS fans who enjoy artificial overtaking

@SeddSezz @GBPolitcs There is no double standards here? @rachelmillward has concerns regarding the safety of the site. Not wanting refugees housed in unsafe conditions is not contrary to Green Party policy. In fact there would be a double standard if Rachel WASN’T outraged by this!

I’m no great fan of Farage, but the state of the eye-rolling, low IQ trash sat behind him encapsulates part of our problem. Pathetic children who wouldn’t last five minutes in a medium grade private sector management position.
Mark Hoath@mark_hoath

Just look at these couple of idiots from the @LibDems . Absolute contempt for British people’s rights . Like silly little children. Disgraceful individuals. @EdwardJDavey and his pathetic party are a joke . Shameful and anti British people. @MartinDaubney

No, asylum seekers arriving by small boats in the UK do not require legal paperwork or documents to claim asylum. International law allows claims even via irregular entry without ID, though lacking documents may affect credibility assessments during processing. They can still be housed temporarily by authorities.

@zicopriv1 @only1lf It would also be a very plausible cause if they did their research properly instead of falling for propaganda that those who are illegal are being housed and given iPads, how would that even work? In order to be put in a hotel they would need to have some sort of legal paperwork.

@superior_aguri @simoncsim1 @LifeOfAls What a way to say you don’t understand basic economics. If the markets not there for rising wages, you just undercut all the small businesses by raising it

@johnwright79 @Sulla7890 @JuliaHB1 Or in reality people will just move their money offshore or in trusts with tax breaks. As lo no as people don’t want to pay exhorbitant levels of tax they will always find a way around it.

Just checking, is it still ok for mummy and daddy to work hard and spend that money on their kids while they're alive? Is it ok for parents to pay for a nice home, private school, piano lessons, holidays? Or should that be banned too since it's all paid for with money their kids did nothing to earn. 🤷🏻‍♀️

‘You don’t have a right to inherit money from mummy and daddy that you did nothing to earn.' @Lewis_Goodall suggests hiking inheritance tax to 100% in order to reduce income tax and 'incentivise work.'

@MeminescuTop @majormountain45 @PeterSweden7 Your solution is completely stupid 😂 your saying throw more tax payer money at the police force to stop migrants committing crimes, rather than going to the root of the problem and stopping them coming over at all.

@DuncanMcFarlan @andrewc92164336 @olive1982127987 @SamanthaTaghoy Tax isn’t theft, everyone should pay tax, we need the welfare. However nobody wants to work all week to pay more tax to a government who time and time again show their inefficiency and wastefulness of resources. We pay more tax and they find way to waste it quicker

If you earn £120,000 a year in the UK, you keep just 29p of every pound you make. And it’s only getting worse under Labour. Higher taxes, more red tape, and endless punishment for anyone who dares to work hard, take risks, or build something of value. They talk about “fairness,” but what’s fair about pushing away talent, driving out investment, and leaving ordinary families with higher bills and fewer opportunities? What’s fair about squeezing small businesses until they fold, while politicians pat themselves on the back for “doing something”? The UK already has a productivity crisis, a skills shortage, and an investment drought — and instead of fixing the root cause, Labour doubles down on the same tired tax‑and‑spend dogma that’s been failing for decades. We’re becoming one of the worst places in the developed world to work, innovate, or raise a family. Success isn’t just unrewarded. It’s punished. But sure, let’s keep pretending envy is a strategy for growth. Let’s keep driving away anyone who actually creates jobs and prosperity. Let’s keep chanting “tax the rich.” And wonder why Britain is failing.

@ReluctantSocia5 @robprogressive @Guacamole_Hater The rich already pay their fair share, the top 1% of tax payers I this country account for 30% of the annual tax. Just because you’ve haven’t worked as hard as people that have made money why should they pay to fund your life?

The UK is on the verge of bankruptcy - national debt has hit £2.7 trillion, almost 100% of GDP. That means the country owes as much as it earns. That kind of debt fuels inflation, weakens your savings & makes you poorer. And there’s only one thing the government will do next: raise taxes Why are people who’ve never run a business in charge of the economy?

@sim_187 @RBRYID @tracingpoint Merc was definitely faster at silverstone and probably on a par with the RB at Spa. He’s drove amazing recently but let’s not act like that Merc is a tractor anymore it’s a very good car with a very good driver behind it

For the first time since 2021, Mercedes gave Lewis Hamilton a car which was two tenths off the lead. This is what happened in the space of 3 weeks:👇 P1, P1, P3 in the third fastest car. He makes the difference👍

@MsIkkle @RobLMyers I’d say this season he’s been under pressure a few times while in a slightly inferior car at certain tracks and got the job done, bad mistake today but saying the current best driver on the grid can’t handle pressure is very very silly
