@BitcoinZavior @bradmillscan @AlexFinn A reasonable association… A version of the challenge was first issued in 1964. Over a thousand people applied to take it, but none were successful. The challenge was terminated in 2015.

Every time I watch an OpenClaw influencer video I go a little greyer. What are they doing that I'm not??? I will pay $10,000 in Bitcoin to observe @AlexFinn using OpenClaw for 1 day. BUT if he spends 50% of his time doing tech support, he owes me $5,000. What do you say Alex?

The CFTC just told self-custodial wallet developers they don't need to register as brokers. Phantom Wallet received a no-action letter stating the CFTC will not pursue enforcement against self-custodial wallet developers who connect users to regulated trading venues, as long as they don't custody user funds. First time the agency has formally drawn that line. Here's why this is massive: Under existing U.S. law, any entity that solicits or facilitates derivatives trading typically must register as an introducing broker with the CFTC. That rule was written for traditional finance intermediaries. But as self-custodial wallets started integrating access to derivatives markets, developers faced a legal gray area that could have classified them as unregistered brokers simply for writing software. The CFTC's position was, if your wallet software connects users to properly registered futures commission merchants, introducing brokers, or designated contract markets, and you don't custody user funds, you are not a broker. You're a software provider. The timing is not coincidental. One week ago, CFTC Chairman Mike Selig said at FIA's Boca Raton conference, "For too long, there has been an open question as to whether software providers trigger the CFTC's registration requirements. We intend to address this question head-on." Seven days later, they did. This matters far beyond Phantom. Every self-custodial wallet developer and every open-source protocol interface that connects users to regulated markets now has a reference point. Write software, don't custody funds, route through registered intermediaries, and the CFTC will not come after you. For context, the previous administration used ambiguous intermediary rules as a weapon against developers. Tornado Cash developers were prosecuted. Frontends shut down preemptively. The chilling effect pushed builders offshore. This no-action letter, combined with Selig ending "the days of CFTC-SEC infighting" through Project Crypto, signals a complete reversal. The U.S. is actively trying to bring developers back.

350-400 hours into OpenClaw over the last 33 days non-stop, no days off...I'm ready to quit. My openclaw is fucking lost in the weeds every day today and it's driving me nuts. Basic shit. I asked it to use GitHub. it has a GitHub skill. We have a GitHub SOP. I can see it's thinking process about using skills, then narrating how the skill doesn't exist, then going and inventing ways to retrieve the capability to use GitHub from the internet. I tell it to look in the openclaw docs for the proper skill path, it says "oops my bad, yeah it was there after all." This is ChatGPT 5.4 with extra high thinking turned on. I ask it to diagnose the problem only, so it goes and sees the system prompt is telling it to look at the wrong place, and it goes to GitHub and opens a GitHub issue about this 'bug' without even asking me. What the actual fuck. 3 hours on a Sunday of trying to rewire the brain of my openclaw to do default-behaviour. This thing such a productivity suck & mental poison. I can't do anything useful or positive with OpenClaw because I'm nonstop fighting fires in the engine room. I'm thinking about giving up.

Thanks for sharing. Been using something similar. the ceo review is my product owner and the eng review is my technical architect. Interesting and useful to see the qa, browse and retro skills. The biggest problem I have had practically is getting qa done for a interactive functional app or web app.

gstack is available now at github.com/garrytan/gstack Open source, MIT license, let me know if it works for you. It's just one paste to install it on your local Claude Code, and it's a 2nd one to install it in your repo for your teammates.

Trying to get OpenClaw agents to do useful work is like trying to win at trading crypto - only the top 1% win. The rest of us end up being the lobster meat for the host in the shell. OpenClaw agents are terrible at executing complex multi step processes that require delegation. I spent about 40 hours last week creating a framework for delegation, standards, accountability, workspace hygiene, commit cadences, capability logs and defining project success. Using all of this I spent 3 hours getting to an extremely well baked “definition of done” for a project to transcribe 200 hours of video content and make it into a semantic searchable knowledgebase. 3 phases, ~10 steps each phase. Clear outcome, clear success cases, clear failure modes, OpenClaw owns the process of doing. Today I am back micromanaging my agent, logged 10 or 15 regressions and generally have frustrated myself into a state of high stress. Constant failure. Fail after fail after fail. 2 steps forward 1 step back. It’s a fucking slog getting any real work done. But the alternative is it just doesn’t get done. I was under an illusion that Agents can autonomously do things for you. Nope. They are a tool. By installing openclaw you are creating a massive workload for yourself. It’s not like how the fantasy threads on here make it seem. I need to level-set my expectations on this tool. 200k context window = it forgets 80% of your processes multiple times a day. Regressions are as common as successes. I’m almost convinced all these ppl getting huge views on here have either: -no personal lives -tech teams helping them run their setup -just plain lying Or I’m just retarded.

AI agents can write code, send emails, and make phone calls. But they still can't transact. Today we're fixing that. Releasing a new set of tools that give agents native access to the Lightning Network: lnget for automatic L402 payments, MCP for node operations, remote signing for key isolation, and scoped credentials for spending control. The machine-payable web starts now. And bitcoin makes it possible. ⚡🦞 lightning.engineering/posts/2026-02-…

The first time i understood #bitcoin's hashrate, everything clicked. this isn't some niche internet experiment. it's the most powerful computational network humans have ever created — running nonstop since 2009. and it's still growing.

The African Union ( formerly OAU) has become the most useless of all multilateral institutions on this planet. After more than fifty years, it has failed to achieve even the simplest form of integration among African nations. Fifty-four countries operate with forty-six different currencies, and to trade among ourselves, we must rely on foreign banking systems. A transfer between two neighboring African nations often travels through banks in Europe or the United States before reaching its destination. Our financial dependence remains intact, our economies still tied to colonial systems like the CFA franc, and the AU has done nothing meaningful to change that. We don’t even have a joint African passport. Africans face more visa restrictions traveling within Africa than foreigners do. The AU has made countless promises about free movement, but borders remain as closed and artificial as they were under colonial rule. On matters of peace and security, the AU is equally paralyzed. It cannot act unless its interventions are funded by Western nations. The so-called African Standby Force has never truly stood up for Africa. From Somalia to Sudan, from Mali to Congo, the AU depends on money and logistics from the European Union or the United States to move a single troop. Without external donors, it is powerless. Meanwhile, conflicts, and dictatorships multiply. Tyrants sit proudly at AU summits, shaking hands and issuing declarations about democracy while imprisoning their citizens back home. The organization that was meant to defend Africans has instead become a shelter for autocrats. Fifty years later, what do we have to show for it? No common market, no shared currency, no mobility, no credible peacekeeping force, no moral authority. The AU has become a symbol of Africa’s political hypocrisy : a club of presidents protecting one another, while the continent bleeds.
