Gotta be honest, this @ufc event at the White House looks spectacular. This is a big time show. I’m not there, and we all know all the complaints folks had about renovations at and around the White House, etc, but — to be fair — this is some impressive stuff I’m looking at. Props to UFC President @danawhite and the show they’ve put on. It’s Bigtime. Plain and simple!!!

Soccer is the hardest sport in the world to play. To put it in perspective you can take any active NBA/NFL player and they would not one who be able to get by me and score I haven’t touched a ball in 3 years. I’d put 100k on it.

COACHES: Years ago I asked one of my smartest hockey development buddies who I should do a player study on. His suggestion:
Mark Stone.
I was like, "Really?"
He said - "Dude, trust me."
I was blown away. His hockey sense legit blew me away. His game doesn't "look" pretty, but he's one of the smartest players in the NHL.
Here are a couple examples from last night. Incredible anticipation and a reading of the game.
First defensively reading where the play is going to create the turnover and breakaway.
Then reading the defensive structure and finding the passing lane for the breakaway and goal.

For those of you who don’t pay attention to hockey. This is Carter Hart. He was falsely accused of sexual assault. The judge didn’t find the accuser credible and acquitted Hart. The media doesn’t think he deserves a fresh start, and North Carolina fans chanted “No means No” in Game one of the Stanley Cup Final. Yet the media defends repeat violent offenders being released again and again from prison. Make it make sense.

I understand that a lot of folks think that the outrage about Carter Hart is simply an online thing or something that will go away but it won’t and it isn’t. I love hockey, almost all the people I see posting about Hart love hockey and it’s because we love it that we want to see it represent our values and our morals and that does not include cheering on a man who AT BEST saw a woman crying after sex and said he saw her slapped in a way that “looked like it hurt” and did absolutely nothing. This isn’t about hating men or hating the NHL, this about asking the sport we love to not reward bad behavior. #Goldenknights
