The insurance company also recommended I ask all my subcontractors to add me as "additional insured" on their insurance plans, and to make the subs provide a COI ( certificate of insurance ). Is this a common practice for GCs? I know I will make some costly mistakes being my own GC, but I want to minimize risk the best I can. Any subcontractor insurance or contract related tips would be appreciated.

.@sweatystartup @ShaanVP We hired a bookkeeper with Somewhere & he quit 2 days in after we had already let go of our part time states one. We informed you guys immediately & This was 7 days ago & we just now got an agreement to begin a new search. We are losing 2 weeks of productivity for my Controller over this. Anything you can do to expedite. I don’t want to put you on blast, but we would love to get this solved so we can keep using you guys.

Is this the year we accept rates aren’t coming down and we are stuck here for a while?
