Just gave a standing ovation in front of my TV for Estevao. Superstar in the making.

@CFCPys @FabrizioRomano Already banned for 1.5 years almost. Surely there should be some news soon. There’s no way they can ban him for over 2 years, it’s getting ridiculous now.

🚨 New images and video on Mudryk Instagram show training at Uxbridge FC, renting out their pitch as he awaits update on doping ban. Mudryk is staying fit ahead of a verdict with lawyers on it. Still under contract at Chelsea until 2031. (@FabrizioRomano)

@LKCOYB Rogers can’t play LW though and we have Palmer in the 10 with Estevao/Quenda on the right. I don’t really see where he fits in. And if you’d play him LW it’s even worse cause we don’t even have an overlapping LB

“Rogers” “Baleba” You follow me, you follow the trail.

It’s very simple. Rogers or Ndiaye as LW/#10 with Baleba as our O’Reilly (LB/#8). That’s your LHS revamped, while completely covering all areas of midfield too. Those are the 2 BIG priority moves to make this summer. That’s your briefed “versatile attacker” + “midfielder”.

@LKCOYB He’s not even better than Garnacho though. Would be a bad signing. I’d rather give George another chance, especially if we’d use an overlapping LB (still dreaming of binning Cucu and buying back Hall). This one’s a bit like going from Noni to Gittens.

Tyrique George is better than Said El Mala btw. It’d be a pretty pointless signing. Can develop into a good PL player with time but not what we need rn at all. If you want someone young you should go for Bahoya but he’s much more expensive and also not ready yet.

@CFCPys @FabrizioRomano Interesting profile. Similar to Garnacho but he’s not really so good on the ball, I don’t know man would prefer a more technical, play making winger but we need runners so should be an upgrade on Garnacho long term. Nothing for now though so disappointing for sure

🚨 ✅ It’s TRUE what’s being reported on Chelsea and Said El Mala. They are following him, several clubs involved, it will be a big fight in the next few weeks for him. (@FabrizioRomano)
Pys@CFCPys

🚨 Chelsea and Newcastle are throwing their hat in the ring big time for Said El Mala. Brighton coach Fabian Hürzeler is in hot pursuit, but the players gives no current commitment to Brighton. Price request at least €40m. Bidding war likely. (@Sky_Marlon89 @berger_pj)

@CFCPys @Sky_Marlon89 @berger_pj Not at all what we need right now. Also if we want another young talent then Bahoya is the better choice but I guess he’s too expensive for our stingy owners / directors

@LKCOYB I 100% agree. We have to back him & have a serious summer, no more messing about. We’re so close man. I just don’t know who we could get at CB, who’ll solve our issues. Any ideas? Maybe Jacobo Ramon? It’s key for us to get that one right.

Every coach is different and gives you different benefits. Maresca is a really intelligent coach that has a great understanding of strengths/weaknesses of his team & players. More methodical & calculated, so knows how to gain fine margins as a results. This has shown itself in key big games (CWC/Barca etc) + key moments (run-in). Better in the short-term for sure and masked the deficiencies of this team better. Rosenior isn’t able to mask our weaknesses as well, and all our frailties our on show; But I think he fits this squad better long-term and I’ve seen signs of fluid/liquid football that will maximise this squad in ways, I was unsure with Maresca (more focus on double-pivot + fluid rotations + central progression). Rosenior just needs the final pieces for us to very clearly to go to that next level as an elite team. But it’s more painful for now as those gaping holes & his current naivety, make us a vulnerable team that will continue to be punished ruthlessly at times. That pain is amplified because every game means so much right now being in a CL-race + key cup competitions.

@TheScore01 His wages would be way too high for these mfs. But also is he even still good? Haven’t heard about him in recent time. He also prefers to play on the left, would he be equally good on the right next to Colwill?

@CFCDaily Unfortunately he also struggles against low blocks. He doesn’t have that explosiveness to get past his man regularly from a standing point. He’s still top though, just doubt he’ll help us too much against a nasty low block.

@CFCJnR Unfortunately if he ever was to be the manger here, Clearlake would ruin him too. I think there was a quote recently where he said he’d like to be Chelsea manager one day but not sure if it’s fake or not.

Bring a man who was a top baller that players will actually look up to and respect. Who was coached by the best and learnt from the best, and Chelsea fans love too. Cesc Fabregas is proving at Como he's top, 5th fewest shots allowed in all of Europe.

@Criss_Crossv2 Just shows how fans are heavily influenced by emotion rather than rational thinking. As much as things already looked gloomy in the summer as much is this current situation not as bad as y’all make it out to be.

@objective_cfc Agree, he still has a lot to learn. Never really played CB in a 4 in the academy too. One year loan would do him very well.

Don’t want to make it the focal point for obvious reasons, but Josh is more raw than people think he is man - needs a 1/2 year loan. At 18 years old he has massive potential, but let the kid grow in a low pressure environment. Needs to play. Strasbourg would be perfect.

@CFCDaily The first part is bullshit. Tactics weren’t a problem in the first leg. What kind of qualification has Gusto to judge his tactics?! It’s not the managers fault if the players make 1-2 mistakes that lead to goals every game. Also the players started to panic at 4-2 allowing a 5th

I do think Rosenior needs to go. He’s definitely not the main point in fault but you can see early when a manager/coach looks out of depth and unfortunately this is an obvious case of one. Not a chance the dressing room has respect for him, says a lot when Gusto called out the tactics after the first leg. Sanchez will have support in the dressing room too after being dropped and Enzo speaking about his future after the game. There’s nobody holding that dressing room together.

This seemed to wind a lot of people up last week. I stand by it. There was a banner in the Matthew Harding stand displayed before kick-off last night that displayed all of Chelsea’s trophies. And slap bang in the middle of it - much bigger than all the others - was the Club World Cup. It was good at the time but nobody outside Chelsea rates it. Forget about it, move on and concentrate on winning a trophy that will really send a statement.
Matt Law@Matt_Law_DT

The first change Chelsea should make for next season is to remove the Club World Cup winners’ badge from their shirts. That would be a start to crushing a culture of arrogance #cfc telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/…

@objective_cfc Gotta agree. 4-1 Villa then competed really well in the 1st tie despite glaring weaknesses in the squad. Only concern I have is the players might have lost quite some respect for Rosenior now which may be irreparable. I like his style & if he gets an elite CB it’ll be much better

Nasty week man. Nasty. Post Villa, vibes were good. Very positive. Rosenior made two huge errors for me: 1) Starting Jorgensen (which we know) 2) Starting with three at the back tonight. Especially the first one (even though i understood the logic) as it lead to the second one. Big errors that are very damaging his reputation and trust with Chelsea fans and he has zero leeway with the fans or media so they were huge. Players potentially too. The tie was so strange, last 15 mins of first leg and first 10 mins of second leg and we conceded 5 goals which is fucking ridiculous 😅 …before that , we were very competitive. Once 2-0 down tonight it was always going to be dark and toxic. Newcastle game was always going to be painful in the middle and I’ve spoken as to reasons why. I predicted problems for that fixture. I’m personally not buying the doomsday vibes man. I get the negativity and anger though but when you contextualise it we conceded at horrific times of both games - and then it becomes toxic. We can’t go from going toe to toe with the CL champions last Wednesday to being the worst team in the world because of 25 mins. Not having it tbh. We have massive massive issues at CB though. Especially now with Trev out. Love or hate him, he’s been an ever present. You’ll see how we struggle more in his absence imo. I also have a strange feeling you’re doing to see less and less of Wes too for other reasons. But that’s just me getting a vibe. Rosenior is in trouble, energy is bad and will be toxic externally. We’re about to find out if he has the players onside or not - needs to go back to basics. Especially defensively. They should grieve tonight but fundamentally it’s time for courage. Boys needs to stand up and be counted. Still think we get CL but we need the international break ngl. On a side note, Hato and Neto played well imo and the boys did well to even keep try to keep playing in insane toxicity. Their finishing in both legs was nuts. Killers. Barcola’s finish was outrageous in first game but tonight it was insane …and I’m sure we had about 1 million shots tonight. Created a lot of chances even in circumstances, its was nuts. I don’t think PSG will win it as their extremes are too extreme although at this stage, looking at Arsenal, I pray they do. Win or lose man. Win. Or. Lose. 🔵
