This legislative amendment would ban the flying of the Carter G. Woodson African American Museum flag, which St. Pete usually flies at City Hall celebrate Black History Month, but would explicitly allow the flying of confederate flags

An amendment was just filed by Sen. @JayCollinsFL to clarify that the bill to ban flags at government buildings does not apply to…*checks notes*…Confederate flags. 🙃 No pride flags. But all good to fly the racist flag of those who tried to rip this country apart.
