@lveplanet @YesImLoco @dhe3g So are contacts and glasses the same thing? Is an oven and a microwave the same thing? Or do you just sound dumb trying to pick a fight over this?

I completely understand the frustration of British cities no longer looking “English” but can I ask why English businesses have stopped trading in these same places they complain about. I hardly see independent English/white owned fruit and vege, corner shops, butchers, restaurants etc WHY?? There are plenty of empty buildings up and down the high street- so why can’t you English pull your finger out? Can’t be bothered? Poor work ethic? If there is an empty building and no one is taking out a lease or buying it who’s English, what’s wrong with Asian, Middle Eastern businesses setting up shop It just sounds like jealousy at times. Nothing is stopping you from opening a business on a high street of your choice.

@5pjq5nsdqt @linmeitalks If you had a little sense, you'd know how stupid that thinking is. Sadly you don't, that's why you're whining about being replaced.

@linmeitalks @whitcher_j38836 So you’re aware that most are fronts for organized crime? Also they cater to a market where the English grocer is permanently at a disadvantage, the ethnic market. Why buy persimmon from an English woman when a Turkish woman will have grown up with the fruit?

They have the advantage of trade networks in their home countries, which produce food much more cheaply than we're able to in Europe (in large part due to the massive amount of regulation int he European food market). This allows them to compete with supermarket prices in a way that's simply impossible for local British food stores. They also stock many products that cater specifically to ethnic communities. Whereas British supermarkets sell everything that would normally be sold by a British greengrocer. Hope this helps.

@linmeitalks @whitcher_j38836 It's because nobody wants to live along side them. When you notice you are one of the few White English people in the area, it makes you want to leave and move away.

@linmeitalks Yeah, I remember growing up in the 1970s where every single shop on the high street was a shady pawnbrokers or money lender. What nonsense. We had greengrocers, bakeries and fishmongers. Your own racism is showing.

@jomickane @Crys_S_McCl It’s not fair. It’s simply part of the anti British movement. It’s vile and completely corrupt.

How is this fair? British kids have to get 3 As to get into University yet foreign students have to get 2 Cs and 1 D.... for the exact same course.

@lusa_athena @jomickane This is a lie. There's undergraduate course leading to a band 6 NHS role that has the ethnic makeup you claimed. Undergraduate courses in health prioritise UK citizens. Anyway you're lying to people who have no idea of these things, so carry on. But you and I know the truth.

@jomickane And it shows. I interviewed Undergraduates for a position in the NHS (band 6) two weeks ago. 21 candidates, all to qualify in Summer. Only 2 were English. We have 4 undergraduates, none of them is English. This is not normal. Universities are discriminating against English people

@_Ijebuguy @esther_stan The funny thing about your tweet is that Igbos call scarf akisi/akishi. Ichafu is the shiny damask for occasions and parties.

@esther_stan There are some people in the SE that don’t even know gele right now but it doesn’t change what the fact is. The fact is Igbo werent using gele until it was introduced to them by the Yorubas( just like the ASO EBI). Even the ichafu was introduced to you from the word SCARF.

Suddenly everyone lives in lagos 😂😂 “Gele, Agbalumo , Aseobi , eba” .Forgive the Igbos who came to lagos and forgot their history. Because we don’t even call them like this back home . Which grandmother in the eastern village will you tell you want Agbalumo and she’ll understand? It’s our fault. But , let me add this : The fact that it is acceptable by even foreigners doesn’t mean other tribes don’t have their language. It was acceptable because the Yoruba tribe were loud about it . Same way everyone calls the visit of a mother after her child gives birth “Omugwo” . Same way everyone calls money “ Ego” It’s because Igbos were loud about it too. This doesn’t mean a Yoruba grandmother will call it like that. Since we can’t mutually agree, let’s call it whatever our tribe call it . Finish.
