A lot of recruits don’t realize this…
The majority of D1 schools are from the Midwest to the East Coast. Geography matters.
Schools recruit regionally: more access, more exposure, more opportunities.
It’s not just talent. It’s location + strategy.

Waking up to news that I lost my father today.. and I'm numb. He wasnt there for me, never watched me play football, didn't see me graduate, or join the Marines. Never seen my child. But he gave me life. I have no idea how to feel right now.

Different players learn differently. Some need to READ it in the playbook. Some need to SEE it on film. Some need to HEAR it in meetings. Some need to WALK it on the field. Some need to REP it in drills. Some need to RUN it on game day. Teach accordingly.

This has been my mantra for years. Sports, band, theater, art, choir, clubs, etc. Are not just a high school activity, rather building life skills.

I used to over-coach everything. Too many drills. Too many words. Too many coaching points. Eventually I learned: Just be clear and consistent. Players learn better that way.
