Centers like @NASAWallops are critical to delivering NASA’s science and discovery missions and supporting our national security. America needs facilities like this, backed by a healthy and competitive commercial industry, to meet the growing demand for launch services. I was impressed by their capabilities and excited by the role NASA Wallops and our partners will continue to play as we pursue the exploration and economic opportunities in space. $OKLO is up over 20% on the $META nuclear partnership headline. This is exactly why I view Oklo as the “local nuclear plant” for the AI economy.
$META signed a nuclear power partnership with $OKLO to support long-term data center demand. The deal centers on a planned 1.2GW nuclear energy campus in Ohio with Meta able to prepay for power to fund deployment with initial capacity targeted around 2030.
Utah has become the first state to allow AI to renew medical prescriptions with no doctor involved. The company, Doctronic, also secured a malpractice insurance policy for their AI. Their data also shows that their system matches doctors treatment plans 99.2% of the time.
Quiet revolution taking place in healthcare. I use it as well. I can say from personal experience that the healthcare systems in Canada and the UK are suffering from crippling staffing shortages, as well as a crisis in competence. The cure for this will eventually be ChatMD.
