With prices rising at a critical moment, as planting is already underway in parts of the U.S., farmers are feeling an intense margin squeeze.

RNA- and DNA-based treatments (gene/cell therapy) have high upfront costs but are curative and more economical than chronic care. Regulators should work with insurers and manufacturers to cover costs and introduce new business models, like gradual payment plans.

We’ve opened a new 20,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility outside Boulder, Colorado.
The site expands Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) development for Mira and Helios. And, it adds multi-axis CNC and precision mill-turn machining for propulsion hardware, including valves used during orbital burns.
And we’re growing our team in the region.

.@DCVC-backed @valarlabs is launching Vitara, a new AI-derived test that uses routine pathology slides to help oncologists choose between FOLFIRINOX and gemcitabine/nab-paclitaxel in pancreatic cancer. In validation data, patients matched to the predicted regimen lived ~3 months longer.
