@DWynkoop I send these reports everyday. People ask for it. But I don’t disagree

#CBJ Playoff Assistance Needs Today
• #CBJ over #SeaKraken
• #GoJetsGo over #LetsGoPens
• #GoHabsGo over #Isles
• #NHLBruins vs #LGRW (toss up, can’t be OT)
• #LeafsForever over #GoSensGo
Regardless of what happens, Jackets just need to keep playing well & win.
English

@LO_BlueJackets I mean he’d have to score basically a goal a game but I’d be down
English

@42TEXIER Him and Mateychuk are the top pair in the league in terms of expected goals for since the Olympic break, so do you???
English

WC2 team looks solid “Getting big 2012 kings vibes”
Team streaks to sneak into playoffs “Getting big 2019 blues vibes”
Presidents trophy winner exists “Getting big 2023 bruins vibes”
They’re losing to the Pens in 6 or getting swept by a division winner lets be serious
Michael Amato@amato_mike
Blue Jackets back in a playoff spot after being dead last in the East when Rick Bowness took over. That’s what only losing twice in regulation in two months will do for you. Columbus giving off a lot of 2019 Blues vibes. #CBJ

@trudat2020 @worldhockeyrpt Depends, if it’s a significant home run fans are often asked to return the ball
English

@worldhockeyrpt Who gets to keep the home run balls that are caught by fans?
English

@ByronMBader He’s not going anywhere….. he’s been much better since Bones took over
English

@FrancisMar86314 @icehockeystick What the heck are you on about? He was born in Florida.
English

@icehockeystick And him being born in Toronto and growing up there, I am sure he has visited the HHOF and should understand the big picture.
English

@TheHockeyNews That puck should be nowhere near Toronto, it should be in the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame, or the Smithsonian Museum of American History
English

Should players have a say in what happens to historic hockey artifacts?👀

English

@DWynkoop @ncsplayoffs2026 @sassygenx @TheBrattPack63 The hall has all of them, because that's the agreement they've had with the IIHF for nearly 30 years. Too bad Jack, it doesn't get to rot away in your dad's office.
English

This is getting so out of hand
If Jack wants the puck, just give him the damn puck??
Greg Wyshynski@wyshynski
"Unfortunately, in the easiest words, it was never Jack's puck to own." The Hockey Hall of Fame said it will NOT give #NJDevils and Team USA star Jack Hughes the puck from his gold-medal winning goal in the Milan Cortina Olympics. My latest on ESPN: espn.com/nhl/story/_/id…
English

@crosbysangels Imagine being so stupid that you call the guy who scored the game winning goal for the U.S. a “loser” 😂
English

@logcleve @spittinchiclets Except he did, he did the same thing Jack is doing, but for the gloves……..
English

@spittinchiclets Kid crying. They took Sids stick, gloves and puck and he didn't say one word
English

@JustACubsFan @spittinchiclets Yeah, why should they? It should be in the U.S. hall of fame
English

@spittinchiclets Is he actually asking why the HALL OF FAME would want the puck for the GOLD MEDAL WINNING OVERTIME GOAL FOR TEAM USA?
English

@Rhys604 @spittinchiclets No, but he whined when they took his gloves (the he donated)
English

@spittinchiclets Omg, what’s with all the whining? Good lord.
Did Crosby whine this much when the HOF took his gold medal-winning puck?
🙄🤦♀️
English

@stanbaugh @spittinchiclets The team didn’t leave it, the hall had a ref swoop in right after the goal was scored. The Americans went to find it after they finished celebrating.
English

@spittinchiclets Hell yes!
Can’t believe the team left it out there
English

@spittinchiclets It shouldn’t even be a question, of course he should. At a bare minimum it should be in the U.S. hockey hall of fame
English

@Justfilmi @CakeMcJabe Except it’s not being displayed for his country’s people, it’s being displayed in the country that lost, for their people to view. It should be in the U.S. hockey hall of fame
English

@CakeMcJabe Like that’s my thing. Olympics are played for their countries so if my country won and the winning puck is displayed for my country ppl and the world to see, isn’t that the whole point?
English

@krittterrr @jtbourne Oh really? Then where are the pucks from the last 3 Olympics? Because they aren’t in the Hockey Hall of Fame that’s for sure
English

This is an interesting debate. Clearly, the 40-or-whatever guys in a given game - basketball, hockey, or otherwise - are not co-owners of the playing object of the game they're in. Giving it to guys is a common courtesy though. Still, nice for the world to have access to it.
Greg Wyshynski@wyshynski
FYI: If you're curious about why the Hockey Hall of Fame can claim ownership of Jack Hughes's "golden goal" puck, there's a ton of info in here about how that works. espn.com/nhl/story/_/id…
