A misunderstanding of this personal, perfectly-loving God can lead to people falling away from religion and thinking God is oppressive. ☦️ The same way that a misunderstanding of how the body works can make someone see their own biology as broken, hostile, or betraying them. When in reality, it’s a highly intelligent system adapting, signaling, and trying to protect them under the conditions it’s been given.

@Shpigford Now I’m curious: What’s the benefit of creating a skill for this rather than having one hyper-personalized master document in .doc format and adding that to the project files?

LLM based AI is NOT conscious. I co-founded a company literally called Sentient, we're building reasoning systems for AGI, so believe me when I say this. I keep seeing smart people, people I genuinely respect, come out and say that AI has crossed into some kind of awareness. That it feels things, that we should worry about it going rogue. And i think this whole conversation tells us way more about ourselves than it does about AI. These models are wild, i won't pretend otherwise. But feeling human and actually having inner experience are completely different things and we're confusing the two because our brains literally can't help it. We evolved to see minds everywhere and now that wiring is misfiring on language models. I grew up in a philosophical tradition that has thought about consciousness longer than almost any other, and this is the part that really frustrates me about the current conversation. The entire framing of "does AI have consciousness?" assumes consciousness is something you build up to by adding more layers of complexity. In Vedantic philosophy it's the opposite. You don't build toward consciousness. Consciousness is already there, more fundamental than matter or energy. Everything else, including computation, is downstream of it. When someone tells me AI is "waking up" because it generated a paragraph that felt real, what they're telling me is how thin our understanding of consciousness has gotten. We've reduced a question humans have wrestled with for thousands of years to "did the output sound like it had feelings?" It's math that has gotten really good at predicting what a conscious being would say and do next. Calling that consciousness cheapens something that Vedantic, Buddhist, Greek and Sufi thinkers spent millennia actually sitting with. We didn't build something that thinks. We built a mirror and right now a lot of very smart people are mistaking the reflection for something looking back.

There is a clear push for SSRIs on more liberal-minded people, and a push for TRT on more conservative-minded people. As an ex-marketing strategist, I think it’s very clear what’s going on here.

There’s a lot of cope in this thread about how Khan Academy “teaches you the why” while “AI doesn’t” but all that tells me is that most people still have no idea how to properly use AI. It is *exceptional* at explaining the why, and in ways we would individually understand. I basically have my own personalized AI Khan Academy that makes references based off of movies I’ve watched, games I’ve played, and my interests.

Since it’s essentially a drug that adjusts to our tolerance automatically, the only “immunity” we can develop will be a form of speciesism. When we view AI as lesser, we’ll begin to question the majority of its responses & view it as a Hallucination Engine more than a Confidence Engine.

This may help a lot of people who are experiencing any similar issues: The smartest move at this point is to do a food sensitivity test / mediator release test (MRT). An allergy test just detects IgE-mediated responses / what we’d consider “an allergic response”, while a food sensitivity test measures non-IgE leukocyte-mediated inflammatory responses from foods, which cause even more long-term damage when chronic. There’s a downstream cascade of problems that occur when you continue to eat foods you’re sensitive to (sensitive to, not allergic to), and the bloating, cravings, sleep apnea, histamine intolerance, clear gut dysbiosis, etc. can all stem from or be excarcerbated by eating these foods that play a role as a huge internal stressor. Basically, the food particles in the digestive tract slip through the tight junctions into the blood stream and constantly trigger the immune system, weakening your defenses everywhere else. If the sensitivities aren’t addressed, the damage from them blunts the brush border and impairs the microvilli’s ability to secrete enzymes (like lactase, and sucrase) as well as enzymes that activate pancreatic enzymes. This cascades into problems like villus atrophy & crypt hyperplasia & damaged blood vessels —> which leads to impaired protein and carb assimilation. Then it reduces the internal substances that mycelize fats —> which leads to poor fat assimilation. At that point, plenty is immediately off-limits and plenty of band-aid solutions can enter the picture but it doesn’t matter because there’s still an active intake of these problem foods, worsening the absorption of all foods and leading to issues like leaky gut, liver congestion, impaired detox capacity, and just overall dysbiosis (even if there’s no candida overgrowth). So if food sensitivities haven’t been identified and ruled out, then there’s a 100% chance they’re contributing to your general inflammation, immune system dysfunction, and imbalances. I’d say testing for these would the biggest bang for the buck, attention-wise and financially. At least, that’s where I’d start you if I were your personal health detective. Fun fact: The MTHFR gene mutation isn’t as big a contributor to the issues as most people would believe (my fiancee and her mom have a fairly extreme mutation there), especially if 5-MTHF or high folate greens are already in the picture.

ok let's try this for some years now, I have been struggling with persistent fatigue (that does not improve with sleep), joint pain & muscle tenderness (workouts also cause notably slow recovery), persistent neck/shoulder/upper back tightness & tenderness (neck pain improved slightly with Sarno), and of course broader inability to focus (been diagnosed with ADHD). I have learnt to work around it, but it still feels like I am operating at ~20% of what I can. Some bullets: - No single notable event/cause - in my early 30s - Sleep apnea test only suggested borderline sleep apnea - I have chronic allergic rhinitis (histamine intolerance?) which likely contributes to the apnea and causes long bouts of mouth breathing - Frequent bloating, either with or without meals - Sugar cravings - I am a bit overweight with persistent visceral fat, though I also have fairly high muscle mass - Sweat easily, some degree of heat intolerance - Have MTHFR genes - Vit D is persistently low (~15), B2 was low (2.5μg) though I assume some of it might be stored in fat tissue - Homocysteine was at 13 last year, now lowered to 11 - HRV stuck around 20ms - Paradoxically strong glutathione status overall - Fecal secretory IgA very high (>7500mcg/mL) - Very high presence of gut bacteria across the Bacteroidetes phylum (Bacteroides uniformis, Phocaeicola vulgatus, Barnesiella spp., Odoribacter spp.) - Energy metabolism comes out low across Citric Acid, cis-Aconitic Acid, Isocitric Acid, α-Ketoglutaric Acid, and Succinic Acid - Older glycans test showed high levels of inflammation Things I have tried: - AIP diet for four months (slight improvement in focus, RHR went from 69->63, but otherwise no big felt improvements) - MTHFR supplementation, with no felt improvements - Supplementing 10g creatine daily (no felt improvement) - Tested negative for SIBO and Candida - Thyroid looks good? (latest labs with FT4 at 1.43ng/dL and TSH at 1.0400 μIU/mL) - For ADHD tried ritalin, and it notably only worked the first time, then stopped (I cannot try heavier stims due to having the Long QT gene) - Meditation (helps) - Antihistamines in case of histamine intolerance (no felt improvement) What I can’t figure out is: Is this primarily: A) Sleep-breathing/autonomic-driven B) Gut-driven inflammation C) Methylation + B vitamin related E) Some combination of all of the above If you’re someone who’s dealt with a similar cluster (fatigue + ADHD dysregulation + gut issues + high-ish homocysteine + low D + borderline sleep apnea), I’d genuinely appreciate any ideas or insight into what to try next.

@DuranLeone2878 @Outdoctrination Went too far on one end of the spectrum🥲I know people that jumped from carnivore to Peating and ended up in the same position; it's rough but it's also the reason why he (Ray Peat) would often recommend supplementing thyroid. He provided the solution & then another problem lol.

I was in this room (I walk by in the background). Going into the event, I didn't have a dog in the "pro-vaxx" or "anti-vaxx" fight, but at one point, the audience was asked to raise their hands if they knew someone who was vaxx injured. EVERYONE in the room raised their hands. Overall, the MEVI Round Table was a fantastic event. It was practitioners, researchers, and parents in the same room having the conversation that most institutions refuse to have. My position has rightfully shifted. I fully support informed consent and medical freedom.

🚨 DEL BIGTREE: “WE HAVE THE SICKEST GENERATION OF CHILDREN IN HISTORY.” At the @MAHA_Institute event, @AnInconvntStudy CEO @DelBigtree joined LindellTV’s @alisonintheknow to discuss his new documentary “An Inconvenient Study” and the explosive claims surrounding vaccine safety research. Bigtree says his organization’s lawsuits against @CDCgov, @US_FDA, @NIH, and @HHSGov revealed something shocking: “There has never been a double-blind, saline placebo trial for the vaccines we give our children.” He also pointed to a major study involving 20,000 children at Henry Ford Health, where researchers compared vaccinated vs. unvaccinated kids. According to Bigtree, the researcher told him privately: “I didn’t realize I was agreeing to end the vaccine program.” Bigtree argues the results showed vaccinated children appearing sicker in multiple studies, raising questions about long-term safety science. He also slammed the pharmaceutical industry’s influence: “Pharma owns the media, the universities, and the politicians.” 👉 Go to AnInconvenientStudy.com to download the film for FREE.

@Lord__Helmet @alfkkifine This person from Southeast Asia named "K" stole it from this black woman here: x.com/Chizitere_xyz/… But even I am skeptical of whether a man originally wrote it.
Asanwa.sol@Chizitere_xyz

We women live a terrifying double life. A mother will look at her teenage son with absolute, boundless empathy. She will hold him when he cries, tell him his feelings matter, and pray to God that he finds a woman who loves him for his pure heart, not his wallet. But that exact same woman will turn around and look at her husband, who is literally someone else’s grown son and treat him like a malfunctioning piece of farm equipment if he loses his job or shows a moment of emotional fragility. We completely compartmentalize the fact that the men we drain, stress out, and demand traditional protection from were once little boys who were promised that their hearts mattered. Look at the advice mothers pass down. It is pure, unfiltered hypocrisy. We sit our daughters down and say: "Never settle. Make sure he is a provider. If he is struggling financially, do not build him up, leave him. You deserve a King." But if a mother catches wind that her son's girlfriend is treating him that way? If her son loses his job and his girlfriend packs her bags? That mother will lose her mind. She will call the girlfriend a gold-digger. She will call her toxic. We are actively raising our daughters to become the exact type of women we pray our sons never meet.
