Council President Darrell L. Clarke issued this statement on the fatal shooting of a Philadelphia Police Officer, and the wounding of a second officer, during  a  suspected car theft last night in a parking garage at Philadelphia International Airport.

It’s a beautiful day here at the @PhilaHsgAuthPHA groundbreaking for Sharswood III, a new construction, mixed-use development with 224 affordable housing units, retail spaces, and community amenities.
