I joined Albany Republicans today to call out the latest attempt by New York Democrats to rig the system through partisan gerrymandering.
I've been consistent on this issue: I opposed partisan gerrymandering in Florida and Texas, and I oppose it in New York. Voters should choose their representatives—not politicians choosing their voters.
New Yorkers approved an independent redistricting process, yet Albany Democrats continue looking for ways to manipulate congressional maps for political gain. I was proud to stand with Albany Republicans and demand fair maps, transparency, and an end to these partisan power grabs.

I've been consistent on this issue regardless of which party is in power - I opposed partisan gerrymandering in Florida and Texas, and I oppose it in New York. Voters should choose their representatives, not the other way around. The integrity of our elections depends on public trust, and that trust is eroded when politicians try to rig the system to protect their own power.

He won his seat following independent redistricting that moved NY-17 from blue to purpose.
And he is silent as Texas, Alabama, and others (to say nothing of Wisconsin and Ohio).

Just another reminder that six months before this administration started bombing Iran, the State Department fired its oil and gas experts as part of the DOGE cuts.
The staff who modeled what happens if the Strait of Hormuz closes were laid off.
So were the experts with direct lines to oil and gas companies across the Middle East.
The sole staffer tracking sanctioned oil tankers was let go. So was the person who helped coordinate strategic petroleum reserve releases during exactly this kind of crisis.
This is what happens when you fire the experts and then start a war.
