Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, PR of Pakistan to the UN
The tragedy of Jammu and Kashmir is a pertinent example. For almost eight decades, the Kashmiri people have waited for the implementation of more than a dozen Security Council resolutions recognizing their right to determine their own future through a free and impartial plebiscite under UN auspices – that is self-determination. Let there be no ambiguity. These resolutions are solemn commitments of the international community and binding obligations under the Charter, yet remain unfulfilled due to non-implementation. And this non-implementation means: a major international dispute that remains unresolved, with consequences for international peace and security, and prolonged human suffering of the Kashmiri people. My statement at the Arria-Formula Meeting on “Bridging the Implementation Gap: Security Council Resolutions and the Maintenance of International Peace and Security” co-hosted by the Pakistan and China Missions to the UN

If Pakistan can do it, why can't the United Kingdom do it? Serious question.
Provoked Goat@ProvokedGoat

@TRobinsonNewEra Pakistan has deported 675,190 Afghans since launching its program in 2023. One year ago, it announced a second wave of deportations targeting an additional 800,000 people. Looks like Pakistan has plenty of room for its own citizens to return home.

Had a warm and most cordial telephone conversation with my dear brother, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, this afternoon. I thanked His Highness for Qatar’s steadfast support for the peace efforts that culminated in the historic Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding. We expressed satisfaction at the positive progress made during the first round of technical talks in Bürgenstock and agreed on the importance of sustaining this momentum through continued dialogue and diplomacy. I also thanked His Highness for his kind condolences on the tragic loss of a Pakistani national in the recent fire incident in Ras Laffan, and expressed my deep appreciation to the Qatari leadership for its generous hospitality towards the vibrant Pakistani community in Qatar. Pakistan values its close brotherly ties with Qatar and looks forward to welcoming His Highness to Pakistan later this year.

Iran Humiliates Pak: Tehran SNUBS Shehbaz Sharif's US-Iran 'Mediation' Claim; Says 'It is Qatar' Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif presented his country as a key player in the Iran-US peace process, claiming future negotiations would include Iran's ballistic missile programme. But Tehran quickly pushed back, described Sharif's claims as "completely incorrect" and suggested Pakistan was exaggerating its role in mediation efforts. Iran then went a step further by identifying Qatar—not Pakistan—as the most effective intermediary between Tehran and Washington. The controversy has raised serious questions about Islamabad's diplomatic narrative, the real structure of the Iran-US negotiations, and Pakistan's actual influence in West Asia. Was Pakistan a crucial architect of the deal or merely a facilitator seeking greater recognition? This video breaks down Tehran's public rebuke, the facts behind the negotiations, Qatar's role, and why this has become a major embarrassment for Pakistan's leadership. #pakistan #iran #shehbazsharif #qatar #geopolitics #middleeast #usiran #tehran #diplomacy #trump #nationalsecurity #westasia #timesaxis #toi @prasadaditi

As a Trump supporter, after watching Islamic jihadists and straight up communists get elected last night who were endorsed by @ZohranKMamdani, I really don’t want to see the Trump White House have more of their love fest with this Islamic terrorist supporter. I get disgusted when I see Mamdani talking about how he texts Trump and when he is welcomed into the Oval Office despite calling for the destruction of America. To be honest, I am very disappointed in the lack of focus by DHS and State Department under this administration to crack down on the Islamic terror problem and I also feel that the entire GOP political machine has been ineffective in calling out jihadist and communist candidates because nobody who works for this machine knows anything about Islam and they constantly gatekeep information from the President. @SecMullinDHS has literally done nothing to break up these jihadi terror cells in America and @SecRubio’s orders to revoke visas of Hamas supporters aren’t even listened to. Now we are watching Palestinians make their cause the only issue people can focus on and our country is growing more unsafe by the day. Everyday, our future gets bleaker because there is no crackdown on the Islamic takeover by the GOP, and many people in this administration prefer to galavant around with genocidal Muslims instead of recognizing them for what they are. You wouldn’t even believe some of the conversations I have had and just the lack of drive by people who surround the President to tell him the truth about these candidates. I do my best, but a lot of people who work for Trump are high on their own ego despite sucking at their jobs. I find myself telling the President information that some of the subpar people in his administration should be telling him, but he hears it from me for the first time. It is honestly very alarming to me how incompetent some people who work in the admin are, because they don’t give @POTUS information he actually needs. Now as a result, we have multiple supporters of 9/11 who want to destroy the West by their own admission heading to Congress. It seems like a lot of people who work for Trump are doing him a disservice because they are more interested in being friends and business partners with Muslims as opposed to helping the President’s administration crack down on this Islamic takeover of our country. I am very disappointed that the GOP is silent about this. They don’t even seem to care or understand the implications of this Islamic takeover of America. It’s very disheartening and I am very angry. Some of us worked our asses off to help the GOP win and now the GOP is letting the country be taken over by Islamic terrorist supporters and DSA communists. What are we doing here??

Soros wants to end Western Civilization
Rothmus 🏴@Rothmus

The open society and its enemy, Soros. While he named his Open Society Foundations after Karl Popper’s “The Open Society and Its Enemies,” his project stands as a philosophical inversion of everything Popper defended. Popper’s open society rested on critical rationalism, the recognition that no one possesses final truth, that institutions must remain open to criticism and piecemeal reform, and that democracy functions as a method for removing rulers without bloodshed. He rejected historicism, the belief in iron laws of history that justify sacrificing present generations for a utopian future, and warned that such thinking inevitably produces closed, authoritarian societies. Soros has repurposed the label to advance a grand project of engineered demographic transformation. Through mass immigration, multiculturalism as official policy, and diversity mandates that prioritize group identity over individual merit and assimilation, his foundations actively dissolve the cultural continuity and social trust that make rational criticism and incremental change possible. Popper understood that openness requires a stable framework, a shared language of reason, basic cohesion, and institutions citizens feel they collectively own. Soros treats those foundations as obstacles to be overcome in the name of an abstract, borderless openness. The concrete results are visible. Parallel societies that operate under different norms, public spaces where debate on the scale and selection of immigration is treated as illegitimate, and the rise of identity based hierarchies that close off dissent in the name of equity. These are certainly not expansions of the open society, but new forms of closure, tribal in character, enforced through institutional capture rather than overt dictatorship, yet hostile to the very critical spirit Popper placed at the center of civilized life. Philosophically, Soros replaces Popper’s falsification and humility before reality with a new historicism, the conviction that global multiculturalism and open borders represent inevitable moral progress, and that resistance from actual existing communities constitutes the new enemy. The machinery funded in the name of openness does not test its own assumptions against evidence, it suppresses the questions. Those who still value the ideal of an open society should read Popper on their own terms. They will find that Soros has not extended the open society, but has supplied its most sophisticated contemporary enemies.

The objection by the representative of India to Pakistan's mention of Jammu and Kashmir in the Arria Formula meeting was not surprising to us. India, as a party to the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, has actually refused to implement the Security Council resolutions on this dispute, and has even refused to cooperate with the United Nations, including the good offices of the Secretary-General, and with all those mechanisms that form part of Chapter VI. As I stated in my statement, Kashmir is an international dispute. It is on the agenda of the Security Council. It was never a part of India, and it is not, and cannot be, part of India — because this was the core question at the heart of these Security Council resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir. The purpose was to determine the status of this territory: whether it wishes to be part of India or Pakistan. That status has not yet been determined, because the resolutions have not been implemented. To assert that Kashmir is a part of India is, in fact, itself a violation of the relevant Security Council resolutions. Please watch my response below to the misleading remarks of the Indian representative

On International Women in Diplomacy Day, I extend my heartfelt greetings to women diplomats in Pakistan and around the world whose professionalism, dedication, and leadership continue to advance peace, dialogue, and international cooperation. I am particularly encouraged to see more and more women officers joining Pakistan’s Foreign Service and representing our country with distinction across the world. Their achievements are inspiring a new generation of young girls to pursue careers in diplomacy, public service, and international affairs, and to play an active role in shaping Pakistan’s future. As we mark this day, we recognize that investing in the education, leadership, and aspirations of women and girls is an investment in a stronger Pakistan and a more peaceful world.
