@JezCorden These rumors are false. Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution will stay exclusive. There are no conversations and have been no conversations to "reverse course." And as we said last week, players can continue to expect signature exclusives from us every year.

It's fanfic that Microsoft wants to "reverse course" on Xbox exclusives right now, or that it was some kind of weird PR slight of hand just for the showcase. Exclusive games is a foundation of the strategy for post memory crisis. Just how far they go with it remains to be seen... obviously. Microsoft/Satya likes to change strategy and create uncertainty a lot.

@JackmoveJohnny I can see both sides. People paying for ultimate every month shouldn't be expected to buy the exclusives, however good sales would benefit all xbox gamers. It really is a bad situation that Microsoft has put themselves in.

Xbox is giving console users the opportunity to show they really ready to support these exclusives. Hope y'all actually go out and purchase these games, or you can't complain when they go full 3rd party after that.
