There was a time when an MNC job was coveted, it used to be prominently mentioned in Matrimonial ads, the way people are getting coldly laid off from such companies, while the Indian companies are retaining employees. Crazy. You get awards, great appraisal, and one fine day you walk into the office, you are told to pack your stuff.
Several news outlets & persons have carried this Sudha@10 downing story. Unfortunately for Sudha it’s a 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗟𝗜𝗘. On landing in the UK you are no longer required to fill any forms. On 20/5/2019 the UK ended arrival forms at international airports for all visitors. simpleflying.com/uk-landing-car… However when covid started you did need to fill up locator forms for tracing in case you turned up covid+. This too was ended on 18/2/2022 travelandleisure.com/travel-news/uk… All of this was 𝗕𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗢𝗡-𝗜𝗡-𝗟𝗔𝗪 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 on 25/10/2022. In short at no point of time after her family moved into 10 Downing Street was she required to provide her address at UK immigration. Clearly this was a choreographed lie for PR purposes. Begs the question why’s she going on a PR blitz? Also how many more of her “professionally modest” stories are fabrications? Can you really take anything she says at face value? Curiously, none of India’s celebrated “fact checkers” have called her out. This is the benefit you get when you ply them with funds ostensibly for “public minded journalism” but in reality as a bribe. So much for our “icons” & so much for “public minded journalism”
