Always found this funny considering the team Henry dragged thru to the final too. Everyone else at Arsenal was either young, washed, or just not elite Henry gets bricked for not solo winning the CL with 10 men, while Neymar gets babied online for doing next to nothing

@TH14_Comps I know your whole thing is centred on Henry but that’s not how football works. There’s chemistry, understanding and momentum built between players - replacing ppl in that backline without any need would’ve changed the entire dynamic. Which is prob why we lost the final.

@ryan3levis Put it this way, only Thiago, Haaland and Fernandes have better numbers this season. Haaland and Thiago have largely stopped scoring and fernandes is racking up set piece assists for fun. Semenyo and Pedro have similar numbers to Salah.

@ryan3levis Bcos you can’t determine if he’s in decline - based on the fact pretty much every forward in the league is down on numbers. In comparison his numbers are one of the highest which suggests he hasn’t slowed down - but is struggling to overcome the playing style like everyone else.

The Salah goal was special. It’s very clear we’re in the dying embers of one of the greatest Liverpool careers. It’s just not all there anymore and it’s sad at times. So when it all clicks back into gear, even for just a brief moment, it’s worth revelling in.

-Newcastle faced Chelsea 3 days before they faced Barcelona ,City Faced west ham 3 days before facing Real Madrid ,Chelsea faced Newcastle & Tottenham faced Liverpool. Barcelona and the other teams rested most of their players while facing mid clubs over the weekend , then play tired prem teams. The intensity in the EPL is damn deadly & draining compared to other leagues.
