I was sitting at the counter of Scotto’s Pork Store in Hampton Bays and a guy comes in and orders ‘gabbaghoul’ on a roll to the server who is an actual Italian woman who goes ‘what?’ And he doubles, then triples down on ‘gabbaghoul’ until she finally says ‘do you mean capicola?’

Climate change and "going green" seems to be a big deal at the moment. Its worth noting. You would need to flush your toilet 1154 times to use the same amount of water as it takes to produce 1lb of beef. Want to make a difference? Go vegan.

We are having a family conversation and one topic that came up was what Halloween candy we want to give out. We all agree that we want to use a socially and environmentally responsible company. Does anyone have suggestions for a candy company that fits the bill?

If it weren't for the impossible whopper I never would've given up beef back in 2019, eventually becoming vegan a year later. While I don't trust most popular fast food chains & would prefer to spend my money on 100% vegan establishments, I support the creation of vegan options.
