@DisruptedStar The comet gives it a really nice touch too. Great work bro and thanks for sharing the extra context around spending 2 ETH to keep it onchain.

Love mine Voyager #168

Voyager #0 on @artblocks_io (first minted and mine) Voyager code is huge (55ko)... and it costs me tons of money to have it on-chain (something like 2Eth)... I know now that Voyager collection is there for a very long time... possibly for ever... Generative art... 🤍🖤🤍🖤

InkField | 墨域 is about to be released. From the first version, both humans and bots will be able to create on it together. In a way, the system reflects the time we live in. Humans and machines are already living in a kind of symbiosis. I’m generally an optimistic person. But I have to admit, 2026 feels a little heavy right now. Maybe the work will reflect that. Maybe it won’t. Either way, wishing everyone well. I still believe the dawn is coming.

@JosVromans Totally aligned with your thoughts ! In fact I think more and more of minting by myself, eventually list some on secondary or to sell directly to people who ask... The idea for it would be just to exist and not stay in my computer. It will never meet success, but what could now ?

agree, and thanks for sharing! Also nowadays, most artists can't release a proper long form, because there will not be enough mints (interest). Even when going for a low price. So since you can't simply release a collection that shines with 1000 outputs (a wide variety), you can never achieve what the celebrated collections from 2021 achieved. So your algorithm can be published but will never be appreciated like before, or you will not publish at all, or release a modified version with adjusted variety or even curated outputs instead. Anyway, just want to say that it's a shame that I have no way of meaningfully releasing a 500+ mints collection these days, although I am open to ideas like: "minting them all myself" or "leave it open forever", etc. But haven't been convinced that those things really work. Obviously, sharing the entire algorithm at once, or doing 1/1's or a series of curated outputs can all be nice alternatives. It's just not the same as the the long form.

1/5 About Long form. For years I've bought Long form with the joy of the random process, hitting rare ones... and bad ones. Then the joy of the secondary market to sell the ones you do not like and buy the ones you prefer...

@shaunaqmadan @fridgebuzz_art @ty__vek You're right. Some collectors probably prefer to have just to choose in a artist curated set than explore by themselves. The same goes with interaction, some collectors do not care to have different possibilities (high resolution, variations, fullscreen). Many artistic choices.

I agree it does create more interaction, but I also wonder if there are collectors who don’t really want to spend a lot of time digging through the algorithm and would instead prefer to pick from a set of outputs the artist has carefully curated. The problem of choice isn’t trivial. :)

@shaunaqmadan @fridgebuzz_art Yes it is a good option... but I imagine it is difficult to build the minting framework... Which platform propose real collector curated algorithmic art ? Only Verse ?

@fridgebuzz_art @DisruptedStar How about both, collectors can choose from artist curated outputs or spend time with the algorithm till they find something?

@shaunaqmadan @fridgebuzz_art @ty__vek Probably a reason it does not create discussion, is to have to hide your collecting intents to not trigger other collectors on the same piece (at least I do that), while on collector curated you own the seed so you can discuss it with others freely ;)

@fridgebuzz_art @DisruptedStar @ty__vek Yes, I did the same with my latest collection as I see some value in offering this flexibility to collectors. Time will tell if it actually works or appeals to most.

@shaunaqmadan @fridgebuzz_art @ty__vek I agree that collector curated is another option as long as the collector as the possibility to choose the art he wants to collect (and keeping the algorithmic creation, not having a fixed image from an algorithm). But...

4/5 On the artist side it releases the pressure to avoid "bad outputs", which can be time consuming... You do not want to have much "bad" to decrease the algorithm value, but have some which allows on the same time very good art to appear is OK.

We are pleased to announce the launch of Met Digital, the digital platform of Galerie Met. Met Digital is a curatorial platform dedicated to concept-driven digital art at the intersection of AI, generative processes, and protocol-based artistic systems. Working with both emerging and established artists, the platform provides access to digitally native works while supporting thoughtful, informed, and long-term collecting. Through curated exhibition programs developed across digital and physical spaces in collaboration with international partner galleries, Met Digital engages urgent contemporary themes and situates digital art within a broader critical, cultural, and art-historical discourse. Our previous collaborations on @verse_works and @objktcom have featured artists including: @IOivm, @andreasrau_eu, @a1111ac011d0, @annaluciacodes, @HeliodoroSantos, @isabelvirtual, @ivonatau, @JessMacAI, @KenconsumerE, Lilan Yang, @msoriaro, @mind_wank, @nikitadiakur, @Pixel0Symphony, @qubibien, @RJ16848519, @rudxane1, and @UglyyFruuit. We are pleased to present Counterspace by @dotjiwa as the inaugural project of the platform, launching February 24. Explore the platform: digital.galeriemet.com

@WaitingToSign Always great to hear from Will and Trinity — voices that truly matter in this space. They speak their minds with clarity and honesty. Of course, no one has to agree with every point they make… but they raise some very solid points... Thank you for all you've done for this space!
