I checked some of the frontend devs who commented and noticed their portfolios are packed with gradients( a copy and paste from AI). On X everyone is a senior dev. I’m not even trying to call anyone out, but if you have a voice to critique, your own work should reflect some creativity as well.

There are a couple of distinct things, which unfortunately, you’ve mixed up in this tweet. 1. Correct vs Defective Usage: Certain letters within the Arabic language are pronounced \aw\ (as in “oh”) when they carry the Fatha sign (ىَ). They include: خ، ر، ص، ض، ط، ظ، غ، ق… and ل in the word الله (in specific cases). Hence, nothing is wrong in pronouncing your 2nd, 3rd and 4th examples exactly as written. The first example: “mo” is generally wrong, as there’s no basis for it in the Arabic language. Something more accurate in pronunciation is: Romadon. 2. Typing vs Saying/Pronouncing: When pronouncing or saying those letters and words, it is absolutely impressive to pronounce them as such. In written, however, it may be unnecessary to write it in a way that most people know, regardless of how you intend to pronounce it. 3. Borderline caution: I acknowledge that things like “turn off” or “red flags” are things that are personal to individuals. However, I read through your interactions/responses in the CS, and I must say… it is quite wrong to profile people as “wannabes” (or the likes) because of matters that do not affect the fundamental principles of their Islam. A Muslim is expected to love or dislike people only for Allah’s sake. This is an extremely trivial scenario, and it should NEVER be a basis for disliking other Muslims. And Allah knows best.
