UConn WR Skyler Bell was ELITE at the 2026 Pro Day. Bell showed impressive speed, awareness and hand strength during positional drills. He ran a 6.65 on his 3-cone, (No. 1 amongst WR at the NFL Combine). His 4.11 short shuttle times would have placed second at the position.

@realjakevogel It's not that he's not athletic enough to play TE, it's that he's so far off as a blocker and at his size and age I don't know if he ever gets to a serviceable level. He's better leaning into his strengths and playing WR, where he would also make more money

Stowers needs to shed 20lbs and play WR tbh. Feels like a much cleaner projection that way

@JakeLiscow Bengals ranked 32/32 in drafting vs consensus last year. Knight was taken a full round earlier than consensus. That’s actually hard to do on a 2nd round pick

I don't think they've drafted a guy in the 1st round significantly higher than consensus since John Ross and Billy Price Shemar Stewart was 19th by consensus, Amarius Mims was 21st, Myles Murphy was 15th, Dax Hill was 26th

@JoeGoodberry Hit rate for 3rd rounders is generally not great. I guess it depends on what you consider a hit. I personally wouldnt consider Battle or Ossai a hit

Absolutely not. 1) He's never played anything besides Right Tackle. We drafted Mims in 2024 and he's great. 2) Mims is under contract through 2027, Orlando Brown Jr til 2028 3) Even if he did switch to guard, "Drafting a Dalton Risner replacement" isn't a good use of pick #10
