@antwanstaley I don’t understand people constantly birching about this. College basketball games are 2-2:30 long. Starting at 8:50. There’s tons of NBA/NHL playoff games that start at like 10:40-10:45PM eastern. Those are way worse. Those games don’t end til 1:30-2AM.

Starting last year, tipoff for the NCAA men’s basketball championship game was smartly moved from Monday at 9:20 pm to Monday at 8:50 pm Eastern. Would you like to see it at 8:20 pm?

Say what you will about the Final Four being held in a football stadium but I love how affordable championship game tickets are every year. You can get into Lucas Oil Stadium tonight for about $50. It's by far the most fan-friendly and affordable big event in all of sports.

@amyknowsball @Brent00882957 I’m not crazy about this hire but college with the NIL and portal as it currently is with GM’s on teams is definitely becoming more pro structured. I think Malone was understandably tired of the professional bullshit, load management, what nba has become. He’s an old school guy.

The playoffs are still good, but regular season has a major problem on its hands. NFL has been getting worse too. Will never be like NBA though.

@SlackPacks Mike Vrabel ain’t Dan Hurley. Good coach. Not potentially 3 titles in 4 years with the other loss being a tight game to national champs. Pats were also a young up and coming team that kinda came out of nowhere. UConn has had winning culture for a while and seasoned players.
