UPDATE: Trump EO would be effective Aug. 1. It will not impact the basketball portal, sources tell @YahooSports. EO directs NCAA to update rules by Aug. 1 “to the maximum extent permitted by law to bring order and stability to the landscape in certain areas, including transfers.”

I hate bad umpiring as much as anyone, but is this really better for the sport in the long run?
1) You can no longer immediately celebrate a called 3rd strike without fear of it being overturned

Have one player dribble for 8 second, then airball an 18 foot fadeaway when you have two dominant centers. That was something. Extra unfortunate because this team had a high ceiling.
