Luis Enrique built the current PSG project from scratch, he kicked out Neymar and forced the team to play better without Mbappe knowing he was gonna leave, he then brought in Pacho whom he turned into one of the best CBs, brought in Joao Neves whom he turned into one of the best midfielders itw and also brought in Doue, whom he turned into a fantastic player who also won the golden boy and UCL YPOTS getting 3 G/A in a UCL final, and that’s on top of reaching the UCL semis in his first season, winning it in his second season, and is back in the semis in his 3rd season. But yes Enrique doesn’t build anything from scratch, shut the fuck up.
Carter@insanespotter

Luis Enrique isn’t really a coach who builds from scratch, he prefers ready made players, and when they flop, he struggles too. That’s why he never stays long at clubs. It was the same story at FC Barcelona before he resigned. This is why Pep Guardiola will always be superior.

This is a very painful story. I read this write-up and watched the entire video. Let me tell you what nobody is saying. This was not just greed. These boys watched him, studied him and tracked his movements. They planned it like a business, then they tied him up, filmed him, strangled him, and dumped his body in the bush like trash. One of them sat in the same classroom with Thompson years ago. Probably played together, shared lunch and copied homework. What changed? The world changed him. He stopped seeing Thompson as a friend. He saw N150 million walking. The person you knew five years ago is not the same today. People change rapidly. Sometimes violently. That childhood friend might be watching your life now, not because they miss you, but because they are calculating what they can take. Nostalgia is not protection. Shared history does not guarantee loyalty. Have this in mind ALWAYS. Look at how we celebrate people. A 22 y/o buys a house in Lekki. We do not ask questions. We clap and say it's grace. Some even "tap into the grace". A boy who could not afford school fees drives a G-Wagon suddenly. We call him smart and wish for his kind of grace. Some parents do it too. Comparing their children to others who made money through fraud. The child hears that and thinks his parents do not care how he gets it. They just want it. So he looks for shortcuts. And those shortcuts lead to dark places. Thompson's killers saw him as a shortcut. Not a friend. Just N150 million walking freely. This is what happens when society prioritises money above all else. When we celebrate wealth without questioning its source. When we make young people feel like failures for not being rich at 25. These boys killed their friend because they learned his life was worth less than money. Guess what? They learned that from society. From whom we celebrate and from what we reward. Thompson is gone. His killers will rot in jail perhaps. For what? N150 million they never touched. If you are reconnecting with old friends, be smart. Do not share too much. And be careful where you meet. People change. If you are desperate for money, no shortcut ends well. Work, build and struggle. But stay alive. Stay free. Stay human please 🙏🏽 May Thompson rest in peace. INALEGWU.

How a 17-year-old was unalived by his friends after demanding ₦150 million ransom - Thompson Adams Omolade was a 17-year-old boy who met his untimely death at the hands of his friends, whom he attended the same primary school with. -Last week Wednesday, Thompson left the house, saying he was going to visit his primary school friends who had just moved to a location close to him, but he didn’t give a specific address. - Around 5pm, his sister tried to call him, but his phone was switched off. This was unusual because he left the house with a power bank. They kept calling but couldn’t reach him. - At about 4am , his phone was ringing, but no one answered. The following day, his sister went to the police station to report him missing, hoping he could be found. - While she was at the police station, she received a message from his phone asking her to download an app so they could chat. The friends, who had abducted him, demanded a ransom of ₦150 million. - With the help of the police, they were able to track Thompson’s SIM card and arrest the kidnappers, who confessed that they had been watching and targeting him because they believed his family was wealthy. - Thompson was tied up, filmed, and str@ngled to de@th, and his body was disposed of in the bush. The kidn@ppers had initially lied that his body was in a canal. - When the police searched the canal and found no body, they asked people in the community if anyone had seen or discovered a lifeless body. - Someone then showed them a picture of a lifeless body and said the police had been contacted immediately after it was discovered, and the body was taken to Yaba. The family went there to claim their son’s corpse. - The suspects committed the crime in Ibeju-Lekki before fleeing to Ikorodu, where they were later tracked and arrested by the police May the soul of the departed rest in peace 🕊️

GOD IS THE GREATEST (GOG)
Let’s get the facts straight about Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates . No noise, just numbers. Bruno Fernandes has played roughly 70 matches alongside Ronaldo (about 40 at club level with Manchester United and 30 with Portugal national team). In that time, he’s provided 8 assists , 6 at club level and 2 internationally. Now compare that with Karim Benzema, who remains Ronaldo’s top provider with 47 assists across about 350 games at Real Madrid. Yes, he leads the numbers and fairly so, considering the sheer volume of matches played together. Then you have Toni Kroos (20 assists in ~150 games) and Luka Modrić (15 in ~220 games), both elite midfield creators who operated in a highly structured and dominant Madrid side. Now, bring in efficiency — assists per game: • Benzema → ~0.13 (1 every 7–8 games)
• Kroos → ~0.12–0.13 (1 every 7–8 games)
• Bruno → ~0.11 (1 every 9–10 games)
• Modrić → ~0.07 (1 every 13–14 games) So when you actually break it down, Bruno is not far off at all — despite a much smaller sample size. And context matters. Benzema, Kroos, and Modrić all played with Ronaldo during his peak years in a dominant, well-balanced Madrid team. Bruno, on the other hand, linked up with a later-stage Ronaldo in a far less stable setup, with constant tactical and structural issues. So before dismissing the comparison, it’s worth looking at both the numbers and the conditions behind them. Stats tell part of the story , context completes it. Some times you need to keep quiet . It is not longer funny anymore
Eminent@stayEminent

Defending an AM that has never recorded above 10 open play assists a season ever in his career Bruno has played over 100 games with the Cristiano Ronaldo(970), guess how many assists he provided 😂

I have tweeted this a few times, and I will tweet it again. Firstly, we cannot say they didn’t build or buy a house for their fathers just because it wasn’t posted online. Secondly, if they didn’t, there must be a story behind it. Lastly, and most importantly, we men underestimate the importance of bonding, showing up, and emotionally supporting our kids. We act like these things aren’t as important as providing. Many men don’t even try at all. no bond, no emotional support, and just providing. Do you know why many men are quick to disown their kids? It’s because there is no bond. We see it online all the time: a video of kids making mistakes, and men commenting, “If any of my kids try this, I will disown them.” That easy? The first thing that comes to your mind is to disown them? I changed so many diapers, soothed their sickness, and endured every tantrum, and you just want me to disown my kids? Many men see kids as people they only need to provide for. If all you do is provide, while the mother does the showing up, emotional support, and bonding, then when the kids grow up and it’s time to give back, they will do the same. Not because they are bad kids, but because that’s what they learned. They will celebrate their mother more. They will talk to her more. Meanwhile, you as the father who only provided, will only receive financial gestures and gifts. You will be taken care of. They will like post their mom and rarely post you. Ask people who openly celebrate their dads if all he did was provide. But if you never celebrated them when they were young, why should they celebrate you? You can’t expect them to miraculously create a bond you never built. If you’re lucky, your kids may unlearn that pattern and try to build a relationship with you, but it will be difficult, because they were raised with, “As a father, it’s my way or the highway.” I work 12 to 16 hours sometimes, and my daughter has a game right after that. I get tired, really tired, but I still show up. And many times, when I get there, the smile that lights up her face when she spots me in the crowd is priceless. I love seeing that. Do you think I always have the strength to go to parks, birthday parties, pools, and watch her play sports? Sometimes I want to rest, but I still try. And whenever I can’t make it, I communicate that with her. I don’t just fail to show up. I explain and give her reasons. So, my brothers, providing for your family and being emotionally present aren’t mutually exclusive. Try. Otherwise, when you are down, your kids won’t be beside you on your deathbed, but they will make sure you d*e comfortably.

You guys remember when USA made a big show of helping Nigeria fight terrorists? They ran a stupid propaganda, flew a few ISR sorties, dropped 2 misplaced bombs on vacant targets and celebrated it on CNN. Since then, we have lost at least 3 very senior military men and the terrorists only seem stronger with more kidnaps and what have you. Useless lot.

Ruben Amorim had us comfortably leading these metrics earlier this season. We were top in xA, shots on target, total shots, and more. Since the shift to Carrick’s style, that’s dropped off badly. Right now, we’re not leading in anything. If anything, the performances have declined across the board. The worrying part is the results don’t even reflect how poor the football has been. We’ve been getting away with it.

@NoushardMUFC You’re wrong to say we aren’t leading in anything-we’re top on points per game. If you could blend Carrick & Amorim, you’d get a top manager. Rúben Amorim has the style but no results; Michael Carrick has the results but no style. Sadly, Manchester United doesn’t deserve either!

SON SELLING RUGS UPDATE: It worked 🚘
Brandon Doyle tweet mediaBrandon Doyle tweet media
Brandon Doyle@Brandondoyle

This is my son. He is almost 16 and wants a vehicle. I refuse to buy him one and told him he needs to pay for it himself. He got a job as a rec basketball league referee and quickly realized how long it would take to save up enough money to get a $3k car making $12/hour. Then I showed him some cooler $6k options on Bring a Trailer and he got the itch to make more money. I gave him countless ideas to pursue. He wasn't feeling any of them. Then I decided to show him some podcast episodes from @mhp_guy (he's listened to some from Chris before and was a fan). No ideas were really hitting home until he heard an episode between Chris and @ShannonJean about reselling. He fell in love. So I showed him a few more and he was convinced that that was the route he should take. We started browsing B-Stock and then realized we need a state tax license and some other stuff so we got that all set up. Then we browsed some more. Endless deals. We settled on buying 115 rugs at an average of $13/rug after shipping. They're all Costco returns. Various sizes, some in better condition than others. He now has to figure out how to sell all these through my Facebook Marketplace account. I won't be helping him at all, other than answering questions and casually giving him strategic ideas here and there. If he can sell the rugs at an average price of $35 (keep in mind some are brand new and are 10' x 14' large), he'll make $2500 in profit. Then we can start car shopping :). P.S. Chris and Shannon - thanks for the motivation!!!
