@ClarksonsFarm1 I would love it if local councils gave some of the empty shops on our High St over to a cooperative of farmers at peppercorn rents so more people to be able to access produce straight from the farm. Some larger shops could accommodate 4-5 farm stalls. @sgloscouncil how about it?

Oh look ‘convenient Digital ID’ all wrapped up in a cosy App No @darrenpjones we do not want an ever expanding Digital Surveillance State We must be free & not have to Digitally Verify to Participate One Login leaky & dangerous Scrap Digital ID #notodigitalid #together
Steven Swinford@Steven_Swinford

Exclusive: Nearly all public services will be merged onto a single app under plans for digital ID enabling people to get their driving licence, passport, welfare payments, childcare support and pay their taxes Darren Jones, the chief secretary to the PM, uses an interview with The Times to make the ‘positive’ case for digital ID. After this week’s u-turn on digital ID for mandatory right to work checks it will be entirely voluntary ‘At the moment, if you ask the public [about the state] they would probably describe it as call centres, being on hold, lots of paperwork, having to repeat your story a million times to different parts of government, frustration with not knowing whether you’re going to get the help you need,’ he says. ‘It needs to feel more like your banking or shopping app. It’s in your hand. It’s easy to do’ ‘Digital ID is always a foundational technology for building the new state. Because what does it actually mean? It means that you can log in to the app and prove who you are. So if you think about administrative services in government, passports, driving licences, eligibility for welfare payments, payments to the tax man, money you might receive, how you access your childcare provision’ The government’s consultation, which will be published in the next month, will include an option allowing parents to apply for digital IDs for newborn children to make it easier to access services ‘You’ve got to bring the public with you on these things, so it will depend what the appetite is for it. The arguments for it are that, if you’re trying to be able to verify what eligibility you have for support for your kids, you need to be able to verify who your kids are and that they have certain eligibility criteria ‘You might have children with disabilities or additional needs and that type of stuff. Now, you can verify that in other ways too, so you don’t have to give digital ID to children to enable that. It just means there’s a bit more friction in the process. And so it will be a question in the consultation’ thetimes.com/article/07af5c…

Ok this is insane. The NHS tells midwives that cousin marriage is acceptable because “only” 15% of children are born with serious defects. Why are we allowing foreign culture to become institutional denial of medical reality.? 15% of babies deformed, would normally be a medical emergency!

An excellent appointment. We need courageous politicians more than ever. Nick has been at the forefront of the fight against extreme Islamism and ferocious in holding the West Midlands police to account. Look forward to seeing him as our Shadow Justice Secretary.
Kemi Badenoch@KemiBadenoch

Delighted to announce that @NJ_Timothy is the new Shadow Justice Secretary. As an MP, Nick has led the way in revealing the failure of West Midlands Police Chief over the Maccabi football ban, and in opposing Labour's sinister Islamophobia definition. He is a true Conservative, brings a wealth of experience, and is a formidable campaigner. Nick will be a massive asset to the Shadow Cabinet team as we continue to develop our plans for a stronger economy, stronger borders and a stronger country.

VICTORY!🎉 A huge congratulations to the Darlington Nurses and the Christian Legal Centre for winning their employment tribunal. These brave women have been through hell simply to defend their legal right to single-sex spaces. They have been vindicated, but the NHS should never have put dedicated nurses through this process in the first place. When I met Bethany and Annice I was struck by their compassion, professionalism, and courage. These women were not starting a culture war or going out looking for a fight. They simply wanted their employer to give them somewhere to change their clothes with privacy and dignity. Everyone is entitled to that under law. But countless workplaces are breaching that obligation because they have been captured by gender ideology. They now need to catch up, change their policies, and put an end to the hierarchy of diversity that has left women at the bottom for far too long. It has taken years from the first complaints to resolving this case. Their NHS Trust could and should have taken the opportunity much earlier to put things right and change its policy to ensure the rights of women to single-sex spaces. This result must serve as a warning to employers everywhere, including other NHS Trusts that are still engaged in witch-hunts against their employees. I can reveal that on Tuesday next week, nurse Jennifer Melle faces losing her job after the NHS accused her of 'misgendering' a transgender convicted paedophile patient who racially abused her. That is why I have started a petition to stop her from being sacked at SaveJennifer.com and I would encourage everyone to sign and share so we can send a message to the Epsom & St Helier NHS Trust not to sack her. The Supreme Court ruling was clear that sex means biological sex. But the Government is letting women down by failing to uphold that ruling and approving new guidance for employers and service providers. That must end now.

The Darlington Nurses have won. But the fight isn’t over. Jennifer Melle now faces the sack after ‘misgendering’ a transgender paedophile. Her crime? Calling him ‘Mr’ when discussing his medical needs. Sign our petition urging the NHS not to sack her👇🏾 SaveJennifer.com

Jennifer Melle was racially abused by a paedophile for correctly referring to his biological sex. She has done nothing wrong. But her NHS Trust could sack her on Tuesday. We don't have much time. Sign and share the petition to help save Jennifer👇🏾 SaveJennifer.com

We must not forget about these migrant hotels, and what they have done to our communities. Because the anger does subside over time, people do forget, it just becomes normal. Please listen to me very carefully - it is NOT normal. Do not allow it to become normal. Never allow that. Having these men in our communities is VILE. Let's just look at where have they largely come from? Iran. Afghanistan. Iraq. Albania. Syria. Eritrea. Backward cultures. Hateful men. Misogynists at best, rapists at worst. Is ANYBODY surprised that women feel like our country is becoming a more dangerous place to live? I'm not. It's easy for the politicians responsible to sit in their cosy Westminster office, opening one in that town, or in that community. Clicking buttons, signing letters, spending our money. It's all just so easy. Jenrick. Cooper. Mahmood. All of them. They don't feel the consequences of their decisions. They don't have to live alongside these men. They don't care. Awful young men, loitering near schools? Approaching children? Leering at women? It has destroyed countless communities, ruined thousands of lives and caused untold suffering to decent British men and women. The solution is incredibly obvious. Round these men up, and remove them from our country. Not only those currently in hotels, but ALL of them. If they've been granted refugee status, revoke it and deport them. We are SO far past the time for half-measures. Two words. DETAIN. DEPORT.

🚨What do you actually have to do to get sacked for misconduct in public office? Pass off fiction as fact? Nope. Retrofit evidence to support a police decision already made? Nope. Misrepresent facts to Parliament then say but nobody asked me the right question? Still not there. Bow down before Islamist community leaders while blaming Jews for threat of violence -when threats were against Jews?! Chief Constable did all of the above and more. And is allowed to retire when he should be taken in for questioning. Is it any wonder public trust in institutions is at rock bottom?

On August 11, 2025, 16yr old Ukrainian refugee Liana living in Germany, was waiting for a train. While speaking on the phone with her grandfather, she was pushed onto the tracks in front of a train to her death by a 31yr old Iraqi invader. Today, German "authorities" deemed the invader "unfit" to stand trial, so will see no jail time. Europe is broken.

No Farmers, No Food
No Farmers, No Food@NoFarmsNoFoods·
There’s a farming crisis in Britain. Over 6,000 farm businesses closed since Labour came into power. Supermarkets undercutting farmers with low payments. Cheap imported food putting British farmers a competitive disadvantage. Solar panels plastered over thousands of acres of farmland. The Labour government are putting rural communities and food security at risk. Once the farmland is gone, it’s gone forever. Because ultimately, no farmers, no food.

"Abandoning trial by jury for almost all either way offences will remove the one stage in the criminal justice process that doesn’t discriminate; the only civic duty that applies equally to all; and one that increases the legitimacy of the justice system and has a positive democratic impact on the public," writes Professor Cheryl Thomas KC (Hon). In a new article for Counsel magazine, the UK’s leading expert on juries, judges and courts explores how the government's proposal to curtail jury trials threaten fairness, legitimacy and democracy without ending the Crown Court backlog.
