@spinelessaisha In India you have to suffer to live, there's no exception. new job? gotta suffer the tantrums and cockroach like working conditions. marriage? gotta suffer the in-laws. it's a society that's build upon suffering to get something good where you arent allowed to complain

it's not frustrating that the governemnt is trynig to silence these voices, it's frustrating that the people are actually convinced the workers are the problem, that they (and indirectly we) DO deserve to suffer like this

factory workers in noida asking for overtime pay and fixed hours, the most basic labour demands, are now being labelled as naxals, pakistani agents and anti nationals yes, we’re so doomed as a nation and the denial is stronger than the reality

The economic policy is so good that the country fell from the 4th to the 6th largest economy, its currency dropped from 88 to 93 within six months, and nobody noticed

@puspailuvtears India will bounce back in a few months to 4th place again, but what we as people need to realize is that these things don't mean shit, we'd be better of if we focused on local governance than flaunting about GDP places

@Dilliwalanerd33 To be real GDP has not fallen, India is still growing, the change in positions is because of exchange rate fluctuations and different methods of calculation, India will regain the spot prob by the end of this year, but yeah, it just goes to show how useless these indicators are.

When millions of young men are stuck between high inflation, weak job markets, rising aspirations, and brutal workdays, the pressure builds. Of course, businesses cannot be coerced into any random salary demand. But don’t mistake this for just an isolated law and order issue. It is bottled-up economic anger finding a target. As a country, we need to find a way to diffuse this problem in a peaceful way.

> married hindu woman > raped for 7 years As I said, innocent Muslim men are being targeted by Hindutva society instead of demanding accountability from their women. Imagine believing a man can rape a free and married woman for seven years.

Gym trainer Mohammad Shabir blackmailed and raped a married Hindu woman for 7 years in Surat. When her husband confronted him, Shabir threatened him, showed obscene videos of his wife, and extorted cash.

China Population: 141 crores India Population: 146 crores This photo is from China, outside the city area, yet it is clean with good roads. So the population is not the problem, cleanliness comes from systems and civic sense. In India, many people think having money means they can do anything, that mindset is the real issue.

India shouldn't have a concept of AC/Non AC. By default, every indoor space should be air conditioned. Whether it's buildings, trains, malls, offices, homes. India is terribly hot for large parts of the year. People deserve dignity during travel.

My "Roman Empire is the realization that my life is a lottery win. Somewhere in Sudan, Pålestine, iran, Afghanistan, Iraq or Congo, there is a boy smarter than me. He is more disciplined, more resilient, and holds more potential in his single finger than I do in my entire career. The only difference? I am siting in a train and he is sting in the rubble of his dreams. My "bad days" are his wildest dreams. My "burnout" is a luxury he can't afford because his only job is staying alive. It's geographical luck and it's a haunting injustice that we all refuse to acknowledge and look away

@Rustum_0 The government of India just ignores anything that's not profitable, Hindu/Buddhist/ Islamic sites just stay abandoned, left to rot devoured by nature. Uttar pradesh is filled with remnants of Hindustani architecture, most of it remains largely ignored.

The Indian government should be held accountable for its neglect of Muslim heritage, and this concern should be expressed openly and firmly. No country in Asia matches India in the sheer quantity, quality, and density of Islamic monuments, yet public awareness rarely extends beyond the Taj Mahal. Between 1947–48, the Indian Republic integrated vast territories that had been under Muslim princely rule, amounting to roughly 300,000 km², and also absorbed numerous Muslim zamindari estates. With this transition, they effectivelt snatched every political or monetary command of the Muslim community. Then, whose responsibility is to preserve the heritage of these regions and their people. Today, Muslims constitute about 16% of India’s population, roughly 220 million people. The condition of Indian Muslim heritage is deeply concerning. Even the great Taj Mahal is not maintained to the standards seen in countries like Iran or those in Central Asia, where even smaller monuments receive meticulous care. A short distance away lies the tomb of Tomb of Akbar, where sections of the ceiling have deteriorated and decorative elements have been lost due to poor maintenance. This is the state of the most highlighted monuments. As a result, the Indian Muslims viewing these monuments today see faded, whitewashed, or deteriorating structures and may assume they were always so. In reality, these buildings were once richly painted, intricately decorated, and vibrant in appearance. Over time, neglect led to decay, and in some cases, local communities made a desperate attempt of preservation through lime-washing (choona), which further altered their original look. Even Humayun's and Safdarjung's tombs among the prime monuments in Delhi, have seen their colours and motifs fade due to neglect. They still haven't been restored. To my non-Indian followers: if you’re reading this, know that I am at a loss for words when trying to describe the sheer quantity and quality of the heritage found here. Stay tuned, I occasionally post about it. In my (justified and well-rooted) sense of pride, I would say that the kinds of monuments other Muslim nations boast about exist casually rot in this land in overwhelming abundance. This is the simplest and least boastful way I can put it to you. If Indian Muslim heritage were systematically restored and preserved with care, it would stand among the most visually stunning and historically rich Islamic architectural traditions in the world, if not the most.

@Rustum_0 Instead of blaming the Government why can't we protect our own heritage. And what have we even done for these Heritage sites. Nothing. We have not even tried to learn about our own culture.
