@LNER 16:33 HGT-LDS. The system allocated me a seat in coach K but apparently I can’t alight from here at Leeds? Is that correct?

@LNER There was no indication that the train would stop at Horsfirth, (it said the next stop was Leeds), and the automated announcements/screens in coach K said if alighting ‘at the next stop’ then we’d have to move forward to coach G. That’s what caused the confusion!

@Eurovisioned Thank you, yes Horsfirth does have a shorter platform but Leeds is certainly able to accommodate our trains. Where did you see Leeds being an issue to alight from coach K? ^Nicholas

@LNER Neither the onboard screens nor announcements mentioned the stop at Horsfirth, which is where the ‘short platform’ message actually applied. Thought it was a little strange if Harrogate could accommodate the train but Leeds couldn’t!

New @British_Airways onboard announcement out of Singapore to London last night advising not to take pictures or videos of crew and passengers…..

@pizzahutuk waiting over an hour for a delivery here. Store says the driver might have had a puncture or something. Don’t exactly bode well for a hot delivery? Just want to cancel and refund at this point.

@SPD_travels It’s all relative, surely? As someone who ‘experiences’ the shoddy domestic arrivals procedure at MAN far too often, it is frustrating to keep having all this talk of investment bandied around. Departing MAN isn’t great either. Who’d have thought we’d actually miss T3?!

Controversial take: Some people are dealing with poverty, illness, mental health and more But some people spend 8+ pages on an internet forum complaining about a bus from the plane to domestic arrivals at Manchester airport. Get some perspective and more importantly,get a grip

@manairport Does anyone ever actually reply to complain emails/forms submitted? Been waiting a long time for any kind of response and nothing has changed…

@TPEassist Yet again - what an absolute mug I was to actually pay for First Class! No catering, no ticket checks, (so many without the correct ticket are sat here) - I just won’t bother next time and plonk myself where I see fit.

@TPEassist What’s the logic? Where is this stated? I’d love to know why I bothered paying for First Class to be honest. No ticket checks so everyone is sitting in here even if not correctly ticketed. No wonder I couldn’t reserve a seat - it’s all pointless. Absolute waste of money.

@TPEassist Hi. 15:00 MAN-YRK. I know it’s never much, but should there be some kind of catering service provided in First Class? No sign of anything and no announcements either.

@manairport Will all domestic arrivals/departures now be coached at T2? Yet more general inconvenience at MAN, more wandering round back corridors. I thought this was all supposed to be finished and operational?!

@VodafoneUK really has let me down. Three and O2 are both offering wider roaming, all-inclusive, for less. Vodafone rewards have delivered little to nothing despite my loyalty. Definitely time to switch.

@TPEassist Thank you, it just comes up as ‘take any available seat’ when I try to book. I’m not fussy at all, but I’m permanently tired so a seat would be great!

@TPEassist Hi, I’m looking to book a return from Manchester Piccadilly to York, 06/01-08/01/25, with advance First tickets. It’s not letting me book seats. Is this normal? Should I wait a while? I’d rather not be standing…! Thank you.
