@revenant_MMXX can't speak as to the former two, but I actually do believe that digital drawing and painting are inferior mediums, and that they stunt the artistic development of people who rely on them. Sometimes, the critics are right.

@ExplodingBoner It's not a substitute for creativity any more than digital filmmaking and photography techniques, digital drawing/painting, etc would have been. People said all the same things about those technologies when they were new.
The big difference with AI is the sheer volume of it.

You're seeing people struggling to get their heads around how & why AI-generated media counts as art because they misunderstand what "art" even is. "Art" is the marriage of craftmanship and imagination. It's not the presence or absence of AI that results in what people call "slop," it's a lack of creative talent. If you have creative talent, AI is just another tool to leverage. A video like this is the product of a new kind of craftsmanship, done with a new set of tools, and like any tool, it has to be used in a particular way to produce the results you want:

The past is a foreign country, even to rightoids. It was common to address black and brown men of lower station as "boy" because it carried the implication of being a *servant*.

“White boy” is a slur meant to emasculate White men. How many other men on earth are openly called boys? Black boys, mexican boys, arab boys… not a thing. Only White men are called boys because it is based on spite and resentment.

Honestly, as someone who has traveled a lot, India is the best country I have ever traveled to. It’s incredible. I will have been here for 9 days when I leave, and there is still so much to see and do. My experience has been amazing and India is portrayed negatively in the media as a place Amercians should avoid, but I realize a lot of that is completely made up. The people, food, culture and hospitality culture are just incredible. I have felt safe and comfortable the entire time I have been here and India will truly be the next big super power. This country has incredible potential and you have to see it yourself to understand because the media only makes it out to be 3rd world. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Indian people are the nicest people I have ever met. I am very grateful for my time in India. I have enjoyed it so much and I hope I can come back every year. Next time I want to visit South India. I have tried to do as much as possible these last 9 days but there is still so much to see and do. All good things come to an end. I’ll be back (hopefully soon). I love India. My misconceptions have been corrected. I have nothing but nice things to say. 🇮🇳
