Back today after being out of commission for a while. I lost my dad about 10 days ago. We were close. I knew the day would come, he was declining health-wise, but it didn't soften the blow. But he lived a full life and we spent good time together recently and that is comforting.

is it just me or is everything WAY more expensive now...for way lower quality shit? airbnb is like $6000+ a month for a closet, grocery runs are $300 if you dont want seed oil garbage, plastic clothes are $200.... meanwhile our grandparents had organic everything, their own well, built their own house and sewed their own clothes all basically for free.
