He's squishy so you'd assume he's an assassin type like spidey
But his kit is more brawl focused and not mobile enough
Every attempt to make him a tank buster has failed
Kinda doomed to be C-tier melee

That's cuz he's lacking so far behind the other brawl dive hybrids. He can't brawl because he doesn't generate consistent bonus health.
He can't apply pressure because he has only one form of burst damage and his non burst form is only good on tanks. His kit is still in season 0

dive is meta this season but the problem is that he’s objectively bad in dive comps bc he doesn’t create pressure the same way someone like dd magik or even bp does and he’s not a nuisance the way spidey is, he needs a damage buff 😭

The idea that double shield, poke, 2 main supports is the default comp that should beat everything and never be challenged will kill the game because it alienates 70% of the player base who like playing dive, off tanks/off sups

Rivals is terrible on Console rn. Every sincle match is DIVE DIVE DIVE DIVE DIVE. I AM SO SICK OF IT. YOU ARE ALL SO CRINGE. This is why i strictly play Comp w friends and hard ban Dive every match. It's genuinely a plague on Console. So over it already. Gut Magik, Bp and NERF SPIDEY. SPIDEY IS TOO STRONG. He's permanently banned along side Magik. Brainless no skill characters.

Every dive player is aware of it but the rest of the playerbase seems to be behind on it
Like the hardest counter for spidey is just another spidey sitting in his own backline not namor etc

I agree, I think she’s fantastic with dive characters but the lack of mobility in melee makes dive for her hard. part of it is that most dive heroes in this game are also just really good at anti dive.
