do you guys want me to write out the playbook to how I built @joinvalleyai’s entire gtm motion? This system now books over 300 demo calls every single month. We spend less than $20,000 in marketing and add over 2-3x in MRR from this. One person. How I write all the content, newsletters, emails. How cold outreach works. Which signals are used and how they’re executed. I believe I might have to write a huge twitter essay about this
Shubh Agrawal@ShubhAgrawal26

you’ll have no idea but gtm twitter is wayy begind gtm linkedIn when it comes to actionable insights and sauce.

4. Set up ManyChat automations. This is a GAME CHANGER... and the easiest way to funnel content into your product. Have people comment "Replit" on every single post, auto-DM them a link to try the app. Even better, make it contextual to each post so the CTA actually matches what they just watched.

Why isn't @Replit doing this? I just checked their Instagram, and they're averaging around 3K views per post while some of their competitors are pulling 10-20K. Replit is trying to win a space that needs massive consumer adoption. This is D2C. Instagram is one of the best discovery platforms for it right now. Here's what I'd do if I were them: 1. Lead with use cases. They already have customer stories on their site. Turn those into short-form videos. Use cases are the fastest way to differentiate and make the product feel tangible. Here's a quick example

Found this tool on LinkedIn that shows all grants. But only a few of them work for indie hackers. 🥲

@zilvestro Read twice to realize its just affiliate revenue. More power to you but I felt Affonso would be making at least 2-3x through affiliates. P.s. Will definitely use Affonso someday. I am following you 😀

I made $1,092 in February thanks to my affiliates. $156 from recurring subscriptions. $936 from new customers. I paid $327.60 in commissions. That leaves $764.40 in revenue I probably wouldn’t have made without my partners. No crazy numbers. But here’s what I like about it: It’s leverage. I didn’t close those deals. I didn’t run ads for them. I didn’t manually chase those customers. Other people believed in what I’m building and decided to promote it. That’s powerful. Affiliate revenue compounds quietly. Recurring subscriptions stack. Relationships deepen. Still early. Still small. But this is exactly why I believe affiliate marketing is such an underrated growth channel for SaaS. Slow. Profitable. Scalable.

ApplyAll had its first profitable month in February after 6 months of losing money in a row and all we had to do to get there was rebuild the entire app.

Spent an hour on zoom this morning with a CEO who sells software to independent pharmacies. There are 21,000 independent pharmacies in the US, I would have never believed that I guessed there were 4,000. He has 3,200 of them as customers already, at 88% GRR. His product costs $400/month but he has some clients paying $1,000/mo for an enterprise tier. He told me the biggest risk to his business isn't competition, AI or really anything in tech. It's that his customers are aging out... and it's happening fast. Average pharmacy owner age is 58. The ones selling their stores go to chains, and the chains don't want his software. The ones retiring just close. So he built a succession planning module. It helps owners find buyers, value their business, and transition their data. This one module has exploded his business. He's now doing $4M in ARR up from ~$1.3M in ARR, and NRR has 3x'ed. Now he's the first call when a pharmacy changes hands. My mind is blown.

bento(.)me was destroyed by Linktree, which bought the brand just to make it disappear. if you had a profile there, it's gone now. it's incredible how monopolies eliminate opportunities for diversity. 🤢

@eikedrescher @joinbento Standards set by bento .me are too high. However, I think we did a great job at gridd(.)me. Landing page needs work though.

Bento.me looks simple, but building it taught us otherwise. After a month, we are realizing just how much detail goes into making a "simple" grid feel feature-rich. We’re finally there - 1 day to go.
FALAK ✪@FalakDigital

Working on my bento.me alternative. Hopefully it will be live in 3-4 days.
