If the Saudis are funding this league, we’re going to hear a lot of tut tutting about “blood money” against the backdrop of the current world events: the US spending $4 billion in military aid to fund wiping out Gaza. Like, at this point, who isn’t laundering “blood money”

I'm hearing that a good chunk of the venture capital is coming from.... Saudi Arabia. Bauer is also apparently involved somehow. As Steve reports, the league will have a $30M (!!!) salary cap.

@HabsFan_4Life I think it all depends on the draft tbh. If by chance we get either Bedard, Carlsson or Smith, I don’t think PLD is a priority and you can roll the dice as you say. If not, there is a limit as well on what Jabs should be ready to give in return. I trust management!
