@JackOutTheBack @HallRaelene Absolutely nailed it. A perfect example of the past that people talk about is the Bob Chamberlain story, he was assisted by the then WA state government to set up business in Welshpool to build his tractors. WA ag has a wonderful history of building our own machinery.

@HoolyMcg Yeah like a drafting gate 👍🏾 Odd how bhp and rio Tinto haven’t had much to say about struggling to get their fuel??

My plan as Energy Minister!!! QR codes are allocated to those that need fuel. #1 Emergency services #2 Agriculture/Transport. #3 mining. #4 General Public. That will take away those hoarding fuel.

@HoolyMcg It actually is and storage is covered by EPA dangerous goods regs, plus storage must be bunded. Diesel fuel requires significant precautions when stored in bulk. While less volatile than gasoline, diesel is a combustible, hazardous material that degrades over time.

People shown on TV reports carrying bulk fuel in illegal, unbaffled drums up to 1,000 litres, may not need to worry about prosecution if their hoard blows them & their neighbours to bits.😀😬 Anything over 250 litres needs Dangerous goods licence & approved purpose built vessel.

400km of driving today, and it cost us AU$7.32 at the charger. One thing the disaster of the war in the Gulf will lead to is an accelerated uptake of electric vehicles.

@Glenn_SoilAgro If one was to fuel up their boat on a trailer, how does the tank get fuelled on the ground? Inbuilt tank . So how’s it different to fuelling up a bobcat on the back of a truck?

Just saw someone filling two IBC on trailer with diesel at servo (2000L). Is this not illegal without dangerous goods placards or is 2000L below the threshold?

@farmersgrowit Shipping and air craft don’t get a mention 🤷‍♂️ no surprise mining use majority, triple road trains of tankers heading for the Pilbara is normal.

My simple question is. Terminals are currently reduced daily fuel output to onsellers (Restrictions /quotas). Where exactly is the “fuel reserve “ our government is talking about ? “Big oil” redirecting ag fuel straight to the city servo’s ! Fact. Not fiction

@CasFarmerCD @tobemcgill02 Was going to say exactly what have done 👍🏾 have seen augers go bad from not having support further along barrel. Clutches to allow emptying out. Wet year and bog ruts on head lands give auger heap of bounce in saddle and smashes the top pivots and ball stud.

@tobemcgill02 We put an extra carrier at the back corner of the engine bay to help with the load. We've had the pivot plates wear more, & replaced the ball pivot. We have electric clutches on the cross auger so its never put away full. S690. We have a section of barrel to replace with creases

I need some advice from Controlled Traffic Farmers out there. Does the extra length of the auger and extra hang over the back once it’s folded in have any negative impacts on the auger system over an extended period of time? Thanks in advance. #farming #askag

@ipaddockapps @veritasvans @Starlink Heard the same as you about the mini going down and re-booting when on 12v, we have set our mini up with Dishy Mounts power cable , Anderson plug into vehicle with a power adapter inline to boost to 30v. Haven’t had any problems

@veritasvans My @Starlink mini seems to go down and reboot fairly often, I heard that can be caused by vehicle voltage as they prefer 30V, is it recommended to use a voltage adaptor?

The Starlink Mini can connect 100+ devices, but most setups lack the power and reliability to actually rely on it. We fixed that. Just connectivity you can trust.

@pc602 Very splendid architecture, no engineer plans, no building inspectors, no OHS, no permits. Still standing nearly 150 yr on, where have we gone wrong.

A few days ago we went out to Israelite Bay where back in 1877 they built this magnificent building. It's remote. In 1877 there were 27,800 settlers in WA, spread far and wide, doing amazing things. Sadly the courage of those men and women is being brushed aside.
