My bill provides farmers the option to receive a 50% advanced PLC or ARC payment by years end to provide producers and lenders more confidence in making deals on operating loans for next season. Taking this advanced payment is not required. It also suspends payment limitations for the 2025 crop year, meaning the $155,000 cap would not apply this year. I know this is not a silver bullet. But this bill, working alongside the effort to secure an emergency relief payment being championed by Chairman @JohnBoozman, Chairman @CongressmanGT, and President Trump would help ease the burden on our farmers.
