@ToastPuppy1917 @tard29091 Yes, but to a point the Kar98k was standard but you still had especially on the eastern front where most of the combat was- personal choice. Mainly around PPSH's and different guns going to certain ranks/type of division. I'm sure the reliance on Mannlichers weren't extreme.

@FlakConcerto @hugodeboss1 @tard29091 They absolutely did not. Captured Mausers, Krags, and Mannlichers saw widespread (often frontline in the case of the Mausers) use until the end of the war. There were entire SS brigades armed just with Mannlicher 95/30s.

@hugodeboss1 The P-51D regularly downed Me-262s. There was even a version of the P-51 that would use a vastly higher octane file and be able to keep pace speed wise with the Me-262. But the war ended because losers are losers and focused to much on retarded wonder weapons.

While the 75mm armed Sherman was still capable of dealing with the German Tiger and Panther this was by no means an easy task. As these diagrams show at most angles the 75 was all but useless and even against the side of the Tiger it required being at closer ranges

And the only faction to truly be mechanized was America ( England due to America) and America still lost more people to the disorganized Germans.

@hugodeboss1 @tard29091 The Krauts couldn’t get enough rifles to ever truly standardize on the K98k for frontline troops alone. Their horrifically “mechanized” army grabbed literally any trucks they could find and used them until they broke because they could not afford anything else.
