We can address Iranian terror by targeted CT strikes, as Trump did against Sulmani. Iran responded to this by stopping their proxies from attacking us (under Trump) until the beginning of this war. Kinda… I know good people who have posited this. It’s The idea that the IRGC is hitting the targets that Trump can’t hit directly because of the complexity of the political reality in the US. I’ve listened to that argument, I would like it to be true. It’s even possible, in a purely mathematical sense. But, that’s not where my head is. I just think Trump is exercising his leverage over the old status quo and decided that it was intolerable for the US to continue under these terms, and decided to blow it up (literally) to his advantage. I don’t need it to be any more complicated than that to come to the conclusions that I have. Because all the signs are there that he has been working towards exactly that and everything else is just agitprop, seeded into the zeitgeist from the formerly-trustworthy “True MAGA” right, using “Real America’s Voice” Why is that so hard to comprehend for many people?
