Team wise @blivorsi4 did a great job tracking team QAB's and free bases. The goal was 3 QAB's an inning, and 1 or less free bases on defense per inning. Here is how we did: Overall record: 20-10-2 Free base goal: 9-0-1 QAB goal: 13-2 Both: 3-0 Neither: 1-8-1

Had a friend send me video of his 14 yo son hitting. Needed a wood bat. Based on his video (-39 VBA, some excess head tilt), I suggested a more balanced bat. Messaged my guys @GLBatCo and they got him all squared away. GLB can help fit you based on what BBCOR you swing. Give em a shot.

If you can get into a longer bat (i.e., steal bat speed) with similar barrel accuracy by using a torpedo bat, then go for it. If not, then question if you should look into proper bat fitting before purchasing your next bat. Don’t guess at what you need, get fitted.

Torpedo bats allow another mechanism for adjusting MOI to fit bats to players. We started looking at this concept a few years ago and never took it to production. (Probably a mistake on our part after seeing how they caught on.)

We have seen a lot of discussion on the torpedo bats, and we haven’t weighed in on them yet (not that anyone was waiting for us to). Ultimately, this is another lever fitting process… that’s pretty much it.
