You don't need to retcon anything. Just start 10k years after Return of the Jedi with a blank slate. No Skywalkers, no Darth Bane, no force ghost cameos, no fucking Darth Maul in a hover wheelchair... Just The Force, spaceships, religions, factions, heroes, villains, and of course, laz0r swords All this legacy bullshit is tying Star Wars down. Fuck IP, man. Nobody knew who Obi-Wan, Darth Vader or the Skywalkers were before the first movie. Nobody knew who Revan was. All the great characters went through hero's journey / fallen hero / redemption myth arcs and that's what made them great and popular. You can't make Ahsoka happen. It's not gonna happen. You throw out all this bullshit and start from zero again.

To add to this, stop buying DVDs. Blu-Rays are better ( most of the time) and your PlayStation 3-5 and Xbox One/Series can play them

@GameNStuff @AVGN82 @txkitsu @_deceptionfalls No, that's always been one of the dumber anti-Nintendo complaints. It wasn't until like Dark Souls where D-pads were used as an extra set of buttons. The vast majority of games are controlled by either an analog stick or the D-pad. It's a complete non-issue.

@gamerghosts I ask this because I tried putting an original DOL-101 case onto a DOL-001 motherboard and after making the hole for the serial port, it didnt fit. It is slightly different at the screw mounting points. The correct backplate was used.

It does. The difference between the DOL-001 and DOL-101 when it comes to these new shells itself is simply the rear panel. It has the opening for the Serial Port on the bottom in the plastic which is fine if you use either model. The same is true on the OG shells - you can put a DOL-101 in a DOL-001 shell, just switch out the back plate.

People arguing you cant recast the Original Trilogy actors (probably cus Solo bombed) casually forgetting Ewan McGregor was near universally accepted on par with Sir Alec Guinesses Obi Wan. 🤦‍♂️

All the people saying that Lucasfilm should de-canonize the Sequel Trilogy and make the Zahn trilogy as movies need to explain how you're supposed to make a movie set five years after Return of the Jedi with Luke, Han, and Leia still as young as they were at the end of ROTJ without recasting (which they'd reject), without CGI/AI (which they'd reject), and in live action in 2026.
