New Crimson Desert patch will replace AI assets that were unintentionally included: "During development, some 2D visual props were created as part of early-stage iteration using experimental AI generative tools. Following reports from our community, we have identified that some of these assets were unintentionally included in the final release. This is not in line with our internal standards, and we take full responsibility for it. We sincerely apologize for these oversights. Updated assets will be rolled out in upcoming patches."

Well this Reddit post explains exactly why the Story in Crimson Desert was as good as scrapped and in the end we got a husk of what once was a narrative driven experience ! What a shame ! Post - reddit.com/r/PS5/comments…

I once again saw these old Trailers of Crimson Desert, and damn these game changed completely ! I think we were promised a massive narrative driven medieval fantasy game but what we got in the final product is a long way off, which is a a huge disappointment imo !

Crimson Desert Performance mode on Base PS5 and Xbox Series X does not look good at all. If you can handle 30FPS, definitely play on Quality Mode as the visual sacrifice is frankly too huge for this to be worth experiencing like this
