The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time.
The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more.
But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.

The Trump administration adjusts to the disasters that are coming: 1) They claim an attack from Iran was "imminent", a legal term suggesting the war is legal. 2) The objective of America's war has shifted from regime change to destroying Iran's ballistic missiles. This is an off-ramp as regime change is highly unlikely, while "degrading" Iran's ballistic missiles production and storage can be argued to have already been achieved. Indeed, the Iranian missiles raining down on US military bases is also reducing Iran's stockpile. These are the new narratives as the US must find a way to declare victory to cover up a predictable and humiliating defeat.

Several days into Trumps war of choice, we have been given no evidence of an imminent threat to the United States. The Iranian theocracy was not on the cusp of deploying a nuclear weapon. The claim that they were getting close to developing an ICBM is absurd.
And deterrence works! The US did not have to go to war to protect the American people. Trump chose to go to war for other reasons.
