This is a good snapshot of the CDMA/TDMA standards battle in 1993. It contains some of the theoretical claims about increased capacity that never actually materialized. nytimes.com/1993/08/01/bus… Rod Nelson, VP of engineering at McCaw said: "We may actually use CDMA someday."
