The FT reported a "Budget tax raid on the owners of expensive homes", expected to raise around £4bn. But 80% of that comes from the homes in the *second* highest council tax band. As with many tax increases, most of the burden falls on the not-so-rich. Here's why:

Was nearly doored by a careless car driver throwing his door open suddenly, and despite riding in the middle of my lane away from the parked cars, he still nearly managed to take me out. I got back a prosecution reference, so I guess the driver will learn from the experience.

Latest bollard update. He's put his house number on it in case anyone had any doubt over whose it is. The problem has arisen because the house to the left now park across the front of our camper van - even though they're not meant to - making it difficult sometimes to get in 🫣

@British_Airways Yes, I even tried the app. I’m trying to book reward flights and it frequently tells me my password is wrong (it isn’t) and when it finally lets me in it crashes during the booking process and goes back to the homepage
