Reporter: Your opposition colleagues say Russia should remain whole. You disagree? Kasparov: Latvia and Uzbekistan couldn't be in one state. Why should Ingria and Yakutia? Chechnya already lives by Sharia law. Empire has no place in the 21st century. The system is so rotten its place is on history's garbage dump.

Putin is officially running out of "meat" for his meat-wave attacks, and the situation is getting Bloomberg-level dark in Russia. 📉🇷🇺 According to leaked sources from the FSB and the Kremlin reported by Verstka, Moscow is quietly preparing for a massive new mobilization wave this fall, right after the September elections. But shhh... don't call it "mobilization." That word scares the locals! 🤫 The math is simple: Russia's casualties hit a staggering 1,325 soldiers PER DAY in June. The massive cash bonuses aren't working anymore; contract sign-ups in Moscow have plummeted by a third compared to last year. Now, recruiters are scraping the absolute bottom of the barrel. They are literally picking up homeless people from the streets and convicts from prisons who are so old and sick they can barely stand. The quality of the new recruits is so terrible that one Russian recruitment officer admitted: "I used to be a patriot, but after seeing the people they send me, I became totally unpatriotic." 😂🤦‍♂️ This time, the Kremlin has set up a digital draft system that automatically blocks your passport the second the email is sent—so no running away to Georgia or Finland like in 2022. Putin wants to drag this out for 2-3 more years, but when your army consists of sick, forced convicts, "winning" looks like a very distant dream. Grab the popcorn! 🍿👀 Source: Verstka / Important Stories / Verkkouutiset (June 2026)

Another hilarious piece of Russian propaganda is that invading Ukraine was justified because Ukraine is supposedly corrupt. This truly sets a new standard in international law. By that logic, countries have the right to invade corrupt neighbours. And if we're applying the principle consistently, the first country on the invasion list should be Russia. Imagining a state more corrupt than Russia is beyond human capability.

Tell that to the Union Yankees, or the Confederate South, or the liberal West Coast vs the Red heart of Texas and the Midwest. Groups of settlers from the EU are represented throughout the US. Up until a couple years ago, the signs in the local hospital were in English and German.

@OckersM but actively allowing russia to benefit from Irish Alumina is DEFINITELY NOT FUCKING NEUTRAL, if it makes you feel better we provided defensive equipment and money to Ukraine. Couldnt be more neutral than that.

NATO's Mark Rutte just dropped a brutal reality check: Trump’s inner circle of Witkoff, Kushner and Rubio are scrambling to broker some kind of peace, but in the end it’s still Putin who decides if the slaughter stops. Meanwhile Russian forces continue to bleed out at a catastrophic rate — 30,000 to 35,000 casualties every single month. That is not sustainable, no matter how much meat Moscow throws into the grinder. At the same time Ukraine is striking deep inside Russia, turning refinery after refinery into smoking ruins and choking the aggressor’s war machine where it hurts most. The math is merciless. Russia is losing this war on the battlefield and in the economy. Only Putin’s deranged stubbornness keeps the bloodbath going.

@robggill That united nations security resolution was a no fly zone, but the West went to war instead. A no fly zone turned into attacks on the ground, insertion of special forces and regieme change. Triple lock or not when the west wants to go to war it does. We should not be apart of it

Russia will capitulate to Ukraine by the end of this year. Three quarters of the Russian Federation are within the range of Ukrainian missiles Ukraine will possess ballistic missiles by the Autumn. Ballistic missiles are the most difficult for air defence to intercept. By Autumn Russia’s air defence will be practically non-existent making it far easier for Ukraine’s new ballistic missiles to hit high value targets inside Russia, such as in Moscow. economist.com/europe/2026/05…

@BillyKelleherEU Russia is advancing on the battlefield. The notion that russia or currently ukraine are loosing massive amount of troops attacking is nonsense. Attacks now take place in 2 or 3 man teams in order to avoid drones.

Mr Lavrov you are losing ground and you are losing soldiers at an alarming rate. The sad reality of tragic loss of life in Ukraine, both civilian and military seems of no concern to you. Looking at Putin and you, both seemed not to have suffered much hardship in this war.
Anton Gerashchenko@Gerashchenko_en

❗️Lavrov: Russia will not agree to a ceasefire along the current front line as a condition for starting negotiations. "We’re ready for negotiations. But we won’t let anyone trick us anymore. Although, sometimes we can be naive, and our simple-mindedness can be used to deceive us yet again. But we’re on high alert right now," he added.

I don't think Russia has any way to stop the campaign to "disconnect" Crimea. It's too sensitive geography wise to be doable. No amount of moving air assets there will save it, and move assets there from where ? It's not like they have many to spare. A bigger concern for them imo should be the flow of supply to these fronts. What if Ukraine tries to cross the river again ? What if they intensify push in the Zapo front ? Ukraine will very likely try a "bold" move either later in the summer or as autumn arrives, before leaves die.

You honestly have to stand up and give a slow clap for the absolute strategic genius of Vladimir Putin. He launched a three-day war to completely "demilitarize" Ukraine and turn it into a defenseless buffer zone. 1,600 days later, he has accidentally created the most lethal, high-tech military superpower in modern European history right on his own doorstep.. 🇷🇺🤡🇺🇦 A massive new briefing from the atlantic council confirms what military analysts have been watching unfold by mid-2026: Putin’s master plan has backfired in the most spectacular way imaginable. Back in 2014, the Ukrainian military was an underfunded ghost town. Today? They have treated the battlefield like a brutal tech start-up. By ditching old-school bureaucracy and empowering young, creative commanders with domestic tech companies, Ukraine has built a drone arsenal so advanced it is literally making NATO generals blush during joint exercises. 🚀💻 Ukraine is now an undisputed drone superpower. They have single-handedly neutralized Russia's Black Sea Fleet using homemade naval drones, and are currently executing a complete "logistics lockdown" on the ryska armén using massive mid-range drone swarms. If Putin accepts peace now, he has to live next door to a permanently hostile, hyper-militarized powerhouse. If he keeps fighting, Ukraine just keeps upgrading its sci-fi arsenal while Russian troops are still begging for diesel for their 1980s tanks. This is the Kremlin’s ultimate geopolitical nightmare unfolding in 4K. Grab your popcorn, the coping is reaching terminal velocity! 😂🍿 Source: Strategic defense analysis by the Atlantic Council on Ukraine's military evolution (June 24, 2026).

@lobitocorriendo @IcarusTwit @Fooferan @AdrianP_doc 2010 neutrality vote was instigated by the deposed president and his party of the regions, which as you well know was supported by russian speakers. 2014 came and millions of russian speakers werent in any new elections,or votes. @IcarusTwit @Grahamfromeire @Fooferan @AdrianP_doc 2008 again, nice. No sources, you quoted. And 2010 is newer. And I really would like to have one to the statement that you did, about 2014. And yes, it was a statement. Are quotes sources? 2022, by Putin: “It fell to us to return what is Russia’s and strengthen the country.”

Russian government plans to increase defense spending this year by 4 to 5 trillion rubles, or 55 to 69 billion dollars, which is nearly 40 percent above the original budget, Bloomberg reported citing sources. This will push the deficit higher and lead to more internal borrowing, with debt service costs already doubled since 2022 and expected to reach at least 15 percent of GDP over the next decade.
