In a typical year, there are 500-600 B-on-W murders and 200-400 W-on-B murders. Below. No excuses for our higher rate, but stuff like "50x" comes from adjusting for the smaller Black population and then NOT adjusting for the larger white pool of potential targets (i.e., USA is 12% Black as vs 76% Caucasian, 61% Anglo). If there were 50 TIMES as many B-on-W as W-on-B murders, which is obviously what this sort of stuff implies to non stats-pros, there would be 13,000 annually.
