Breaking: Two major psychedelic studies are about to change everything when published today. After years of rigorous, double-blind work, there is now the first provable evidence of interspecies communication… and the first laboratory-confirmed psychedelic-occasioned spiritually enlightened humans. Details below.

Do psychedelics feel like psychosis? According to people with experience with both states, for the most part, not really. At least for our participants in general, cannabis felt substantially more like psychosis. link.springer.com/article/10.100…

Someone involved with a psilocybin trial here in Sweden told me that most Swedes think of psilocybin the same as heroin — all drugs are the same here— Yeah, psychedelic exceptionalism is a problem. But this is a bit much.

I'm experimenting with 5-MeO-DMT because it may be most underrated longevity molecule no one is talking about. + Accelerated neurogenesis: a single dose more than doubled brain cell proliferation and neuronal regeneration in the hippocampus within 12 hours, alongside measurable increases in synaptic density and firing frequency in rodent models. + Proteomic reorganization: in human cerebral organoids, 5-MeO-DMT triggers rapid proteomic shifts favoring cellular reorganization and synapse formation. Early evidence of structural brain renewal at the molecular level. + Default Mode Network reset: The DMN calcifies with age locking us into rigid, repetitive patterns of thought. 5-MeO-DMT disrupts these patterns, restoring bottom up connectivity between sensory and creative brain regions. A forced return to neurological flexibility and youthfulness. + Systemic anti-inflammation: suppresses pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-alpha) while upregulating IL-10, the anti-inflammatory signal. Mediated through the Sigma-1 receptor, suggesting a mechanism distinct from other psychedelics.

Today I woke up to see the guy who plagiarized me is going popular making videos about my theory. The other week, my sister passed away. A few months ago my grandma. My mom is gone too. What is life

@TheProjectUnity I'm not as conspiratorial. Sometimes science delivers evidence of a nature that you might not want to hear. The research looks valid to me and will likely publish in a high-impact peer-reviewed journal.

Suddenly, out of the blue, cannabis has new negative side effects that have never been discussed before and now psilocybin apparently gives you brain tumours. Why do I get the feeling that the incentive behind these studies isn't medically orientated?
josh hardman@Josh__Hardman

🐁 Very concerning finding: Psilocybin promotes brain tumour growth Authors caution against use of 5-HT2A agonists like psilocybin in patients with glioma, "given the profound and sustained tumor growth-promoting effects observed." Extends to other serotonergic drugs like LSD.

How do psychedelics impact people with a history of non-affective psychosis? A qualitative study (whole, marvelous paper. Brava, @HDourron Haley Dourron et al.) frontiersin.org/journals/psych…

Psych*delics might not be universally harmful for people with psychotic disorders, but more careful studies need to be conducted. Don’t try this at home, folks! Also, the insight into hallucinations is a puzzling piece of data that also fits with a survey study we conducted.

But it wasn’t all life-changing experiences. Some people really didn’t feel like psychs impacted long-term… they were just kind of like, “Whatever, it’s fun!” I’m guessing this experience is more common in psychedelic-using circles than is often acknowledged

For a while, people have wondered what sort of impact psychedelics might have on individuals with a history of psychotic disorders. What might go wrong? Could any potential benefits occur? frontiersin.org/journals/psych…
