Build in public lied to me. When I first shared the idea for ShotSnap, devs loved it. 40 people joined the waitlist. I was pumped. Then I shipped. I emailed every single one of them. Zero replies. So now I’m asking the real question: Were they actually interested or just farming engagement? Is build in public validating ideas or just validating tweets?

@alexkehr @OpenAI He's smoking crack. Google had LLM tech before WFH and never released it. Google is failing because it's way too big, risk-averse, and impossible to launch anything without endless red tape. Don't make WFH the issue.

In a Stanford talk posted today, Eric Schmidt says the reason why Google is losing to @OpenAI and other startups is because Google only has people coming in 1 day per week 👀

@jdan I hate to break it to you. But ideas are a dime a dozen. The reason why co-pilot was successful was not because you worked on it. It’s because GitHub/ Microsoft backed it. If you did this by yourself. You wouldn’t get nearly as far, because you need to build an entire company
