We have heard that Finn McLaughlin could be the 8th guy, but we have heard some conflicting info on that. But I do not think that would be a surprise if it ends up happening.
Are there others that we have not heard about yet? We will just have to wait and see what tomorrow brings when the portal opens up.
One thing is for sure... The team will have A LOT of new faces come October.

I guess you could say they were subverting expectations like they'd done so often before, but if the story revolves around a chosen one destroying the evil to the north, it doesn't make sense.

It was 21st-century "girlbossery" of the sort that ran completely counter to everything realistic and cruelly accurate in GRRM's universe. It was clear the writers were making it up at that point.

I can recall exactly nobody in the GoT fandom celebrating this. Perhaps media twits who hovered around the show as a cultural product with "buzz," but that whole episode was roundly panned, and that stupid deux ex machina most of all.

Played 2023 WJC for USA (bronze, 3A in 7GP). Brother of NHLer Casey Mittelstadt.
He'll report to Laval Rocket (AHL) now, with 2-year ELC starting 2026-27. Solid late-round find with puck-moving upside.
