@4ntropy @Ashley78186050 I don‘t disagree with that. I have traveled to the US several times and Americans were indeed very hospitable. Many Europeans are resentful of American foreign and trade policy but I think that most people won‘t hold it against American visitors.

If you as a European come to America, you’ll be treated with nothing but kindness and respect as long as you approach Americans with kindness and respect. Even if you’re rude, it’ll be laughed off by most, not all, but most.

@Eivor_Koy I was on xhs for a while and I noticed that there were a lot of cringeworthy posts like that. Also many self-loathing and eternally online Americans. It's a pity because I had great interactions with Chinese people from Yunnan and Hubei on that platform.

If you've noticed that Chinese users on Xiaohongshu seem less eager than before to chat with or befriend foreigners, here's one of the reasons🙃
